TMZ writers are what happens when you merge Jezebel journalism with Lifehacker wit.

I was at a yard sale last week and this douche had a kid rock autographed guitar.
Red white and blue violation of the flag code, and a fake fender, at that.
He wanted 1400 for it.

I explained I play and collect and record.

He said are you interested in that guitar?

I said "make it and even two thousand."
His jaw stopped but before he could say anything I said "cash, mister. You gimme 2 thousand cash right now and ill take that piece of shiat off your hands and you'll never see that cursed thing again"

Dude got totally bent out of shape like I had farked his dog or something so I left.

He won't get that money, and when he does unload it for 50 bucks, my words will ring in his ears.

And however he got it, he's an asshole for thinking it's worth more than 50 bucks.
Plus, you gotta repaint it and it's a fake fender at that. Frets all jagged and shiat.

Benevolent Misanthrope: Why is he famous?

I think for the mullet people he is their god. For the rest of us, he had one song that I remember was used at the end of The Shield's first episode and was used well to set the tone of the series. Other than that, can anyone name one song of his?

Oh, wow, that guy that's never been subtle about who he was told us out loud who he was. Crazy.

169th Cousin: Who?

Oh there exists a man-child who grew up on a high end ranch, left wanting for nothing.  He then took his money and privilege to create what he believed was a hardworking hillbilly persona so his manufactured music seemed more authentic.  Then he opened a steakhouse. The end.

I love the, I can only assume, owner doing the 'cut filming' gesture, as if that is ever going to happen. Way to go FishLipz. Totally not going there after church. Or church in general.

Wow. This is really going to make gay people rethink their level of love for Kid Rock.

Yeah, well, he sucks. He always sucked. He will always suck. He's dumb as, and looks like, a month old bag of dog shiat. Gimmicky piece of garbage.

Just imagined Kid Rock swinging his colostomy bag round and round over his head at the old folks home, screaming "my name is Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid" while orderlies desperately try to calm him down.

"Has been?" Absolutely.
Never was? Not quite. Dude sold millions of records and headlined world tours.

His music sucks, but trying to claim he never had a heyday is pants on head stupid.

He got lucky and found a good producer and publicist.

Back in the day, if Kid Rock didn't use a homophobic slur we demanded our money back.
I wonder what the cover charge was a Fish lipz? Under $20, I would hope.

I, for one, would like to thank TMZ for exposing Kid Rock's douchebaggery and lack of character, which otherwise might have forever remained a mystery.

I would also like to thank Kid Rock for his strong stance against not only the smartphone-related recording of concerts but also against the sort of people who would record and post a Kid Rock show to social media. You never know which dirtbag high school acquaintance could post something to their timeline accidentally exposing you to Bawatadiddy or Singing Sweet Home Alabama or whatever. Yuck.

/Just take Paul Anna's foolproof plan:  just look away.

2 okay songs , a made up backstory, a idiotic fanbase that eats it up, being a conservative "rapper " ,a hard turn to new southern rock and being the anti emenin.

Don't forget he started as a "rapper" and early on he was friends with Fark's favorites

Fishlipz Bar and Grill? At some marina in Smithville, TN (population 4,793) an hour+ outside of Nashville? How the mighty have fallen.... I don't know what the marina circuit looks like for the overpriced has-been nostalgia acts, but I have to think it's a downgrade from the state/county fair circuit.

Maybe he should go back to his roots and grow out the high-top?

"Flocking"? The crowd seems pretty, umm sparse. And the dollar bills on the stage leads me to believe he was working for tips.
