Nope, match-ups are already locked-in.

Avs/Knights winner plays Habs/Jets
Isles/Bruins winner plays Canes/Bolts

Avs/Knights are the two highest remaining seeds and the Habs/Jets are the lowest.

That the Habs are still in it is already an upset, bordering on Legendary. They face the winner of the NordsMovedFromQuebec/ExpansionShoudHaveGoneToQuebec which probably won't go well for them. IF they somehow keep momentum, and get past (not likely, but a guy can dream) the winner of Bolts/Bruins (I suspect) will be a relatively good matchup.

I want to see Habs/Avs (for that good old Montreal/Quebec City fun) and end on Montreal/Boston (with the cup of course) Montreal is overdue for a cup, and this would make 25 for the Habs but 50 for the city of Montreal

Winnipeg Jets could join rare club if they lose tonight, ending up with exactly 8 playoff games.
Since NHL went to Best-of-7 format in 1987, this has only happened two other times:
1992-93 Buffalo Sabres (Swept BOS; Swept by MTL)
2018-19 NY Islanders (Swept PIT; Swept by CAR)

His stock went way the hell up pulling that gold medal out of that tire fire start for the Canadians at the Worlds with a decidedly lesser than average team. At this point, it might be deepest pockets win.

I really want NY to take this series. As long as they score more goals than the Bruins, they will win. That's gotta be their strategy.

Jets should prolong it just to make the Habs play more games before taking the series.

If the Rangers really believe that they should be a playoff team, they'll give Gallant a blank check and say "name your salary." That Canadian team was nowhere to start and then beat the 3 best teams in the knockout rounds to win the gold.

From his POV, on those two teams:

Kraken makes you a legend if you coach an expansion to some degree of success out of the gate. But you have to deal with an elite group that knows you in Vegas, a maybe powerhouse in Edmonton, and two prospect-deep Southern California teams that might ignite into something fierce in a year or two. And who knows if your neighboring rival gets lucky again on a quick rebuild.

NYR job is full of young talent that could make it a long gig if you make it click, but the front office just got farked huge and has issues. At least some of the rivals are long in the tooth, but they can maul you with them.
