The prob with these videos is that I focus on stuff like backwards embroidery.

The problem with these videos is who gives a shiat. I have to be truly, truly tight with anyone I "believe" about anything.

I'm still pretty sure a bunch of seditious insurrectionists invaded the U.S Capitol on Jan 6th and need to be hung from tall trees with short ropes.

Too much effort. Just shoot them and toss the bodies down a toxic mine shaft

Neal Asher writes some kickass Space Opera that includes a warlike alien race (the Praedor) who reject all digital recordings as evidence, as it is far too easily manipulated.

Not a bad idea.  We may have to adopt that soon in the real world.

(Asher explores lots of other interesting concepts, too.  If you started with the pulp-ish Agent Cormac series but found them shallow, try some of his later ones.  As you read them all in publication sequence, you get to see his writing improve gradually but dramatically.  I especially recommend his Transformation trilogy; if you like Iain M Banks, give those a try.)

Wait! I know this one... the cylinder is green because the checkered pattern extend an imaginary line through all wavelengths, creating an average color for the cylinder; the average of the human visible spectrum would be somewhere in the green wavelengths. Or is it that all the tiles with letters in them are the same color as tiles without letter?

Oh, crap.... I got it. It's 2 dimensional. I should have known. It looks so real.

No, the cylinder and the checkerboard are actually the same size, shape, and color.

Clearly you haven't been over all of it.

The dressis undoubtedly blue and black.
The picture of the dress is measurably white and gold.
The colorsof the picture on cell phonescreens can be anything at all because cell phone screen are shiatty.
The mental image of the colors of the picture of the dress in many people's brains is blue and white or blue and gold thanks to shiatty screens and preconceptions.
