Pence is too stupid to realize anything

He had his chance to use article 25 on or after January 6th. and run as a former President who took action, instead of being a coward

[...] Trump, with the willing complicity of lots of Republican leaders in Congress, is trying to rewrite what happened on January 6.

Pence isn't reading off that script. Which, in its way, is admirable.

HAHAHAH. Was the reporter tasked with including one (qualified) complement about Pence in the article?

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/01/06/mike-pence-rejects-trumps-call-to-overturn-biden-election.html

Pence said in his letter that he shared "the concerns of millions of Americans about the integrity of this election," which Trump and his supporters have claimed without evidence was corrupted by widespread ballot fraud.

Also all of this trash about calling into question about the "MUH ELECTION INTEGRITY!":

https://www.dailysignal.com/2021/03/03/election-integrity-is-a-national-imperative/

After an election marked by significant voting irregularities and numerous instances of officials setting aside state election law, I share the concerns of millions of Americans about the integrity of the 2020 election. -Mike Pence in his opening statement

And not to mention that the ONLY reason he didn't go through with using some made up powers to single-handedly overturn the election (that has been shared with us) was because he talked to legal scholars about it and told Trump "Hey, I have no authority to do anything".

https://www.nytimes.com/2021/01/05/us/politics/pence-trump-election-results.html

Mr. Pence has spent hours with parliamentarians and lawyers in recent days. His allies said they expect him to carry out his constitutional duties on Wednesday.

But, okay sure. Let's give Mike Pence the props he deserves for jumping over the tiniest hurdle possible, even though he's was publicly kicking and screaming the entire time doing it.

in the related vids, FaceTube recommended "Don Hertzfeldt Couch Gag" and I'm genuinely shocked that 1) they let him do one 2) it actually aired, apparently and 3) it has not been taken down on the basis of being genuinely disturbing, like pretty much all of Don Hertzfeldt.

It's not unrelated.

But he hasn't.  He jumped right on top of that hurdle, and firmly has all four legs on all eight sides of it.  I assume that was either a very lucky jump, or a very strong grab by the ass cheeks, and, what's it called when your taint is not just calloused but just hardened from years of abuse so you feel no pain when you land on a hurdle directly on it and you barely wince, publicly?

Now I'm seriously on the fence about this Pence fella being on the fence.

Invoking article 25 requires more than just the Vice President. A majority of the President's Cabinet and 2/3rds of the House and Senate are also required.

Everybody thought that Trump had no chance of winning. Clinton elevated him and wanted to make sure he was the one in the ring with her because they were so sure he was a joke of a candidate.

Look how that turned out.

Let's not underestimate the chances of evil people galvanizing the evil parts of America. Which there are a lot of, because we're a sh*thole.

Trump's continued roiling of the political scene is the best thing that could happen for Democrats.  60% support of a much-shrunken GOP will never be competitive on a national scale.  Cheetolini hastened the GOP's decent into regional party status by a decade.

That cast had fun. You can tell by just watching any Trek series, which cast liked each other and had fun vs. miserable.

So far this has got more 'funnies' than 'smarts' (and why not, it's both) but this is spot farking on. The Q club, the hard core Trumpists and the constitutional illiterates (there's a lot of overlap between those groups admittedly) were united in baying for his blood in early January, and for no other reason than he was Trump's Vice President and they had cobbled a conspiracy theory together than he could overturn the election result as a matter of course.

If Lin Wood had been Vice President in January, he'd have literally tweeted that he himself was a traitor and that patriots needed to take appropriate action. That is how farking mad these chucklefarks were/are.

And that's why Pence has no political future. Nobody who was in that position on that day could have had any chance of a political future. We can ignore everything else that's wrong with Pence (and that's a shiat-ton) and just move on.

True. Also I have heard more than one member of the evil movement say that it is not about Trump and his policies as much as he was a figurehead to unite the evil parts into a unified voice. Trump is a wrench they can throw in the gears of American society. That is why Trump can get away with things that are polar opposite of ideological conservatism, pragmatic conservative governing is not what is desired, the collapse of the American democracy & society is. There is a reason they stockpile weapons and ammo and started the survivalist culture, they are preparing for when they effectively destroy society and put them in the catbird seats for the mob rule which ensues. This will allow them to re-establish a pre-civil war type nation with them in control over the lesser peoples, for these people's own good.

Of course since it is a movement of many chiefs and few indians, with everyone thinking they are in the role of George Washington, if they get their dream societal collapse they will fall into a civil war among themselves. After all it is their egos that brought them this far, an ego that superseded their desire to be a citizen.

And the funny thing is, by straddling that fence, he has no constituency at all. The Trump cult hates his guts for not overturning democracy, and everyone outside it hates his guys for trying to enable the Trump cult by continuing to pretend their bullshiat has merit. He is a pariah. He has nobody. He couldn't win dog catcher at this point.
