Adoption rates have been way up since the start of the pandemic. People wanted new animal companions while they had to stay home. I expected the rate to start slowing down with the easing of restrictions, but adoptions are still going strong.

Keep it going. Go to your nearest shelter and get your nose booped today!

I'm pleased to see that adoption rates are remaining high. We have three dogs that are all rescues. We live in a ~1000 sq ft house and there are more dogs living here than people. I wouldn't change a thing. Nothing better than taking a nap under a pile of dogs.
