Watched Wattstax yesterday...the "Black Woodstock"; the Watts festival, seven years after the riots.  Great music and interesting stuff, it's been nearly 50 years and a lot of the stuff they're talking about has hardly changed.  Also featuring Richard Pryor and Ted Lange.  Jesse Jackson kicks things off, Isaac Hayes wraps things up.

The best cameo is a cameo by Cameo.

"At least none that I can see Mr Connors."

I scrolled through their entire stupid listicle to see they had left this out. Based on that and including Tina Fey's way more than a cameo in Muppets Most Wanted, I have to say they suck and writing crappy internet lists.

The wife and I have been binging on Little House on the Prairie and are in the middle of season 3, forgot how dark some of the episodes were.

Soul - I enjoyed this one quite a bit.  One of the better Pixar movies of recent years.

The Rock - An old favorite.  An actual R rated action movie with big stars, Mostly practical effects with no CGI blood and no over choreographed, wire work fight scenes.

Hard Ticket to Hawaii - I had seen random clips of this over the years.  It was as bizarre and hilarious as I expected.

This led me to re-watching Season 1 of Danger 5. Probably the most surreal tv show ever made.

Best cameo: David Duchovny and/or Billy Zane in Zoolander.

Margot Kidder in Maverick.  She starred with James Garner in the TV show "Nichols".

Not a movie, but my favorite cameo is Jesse Ventura and Alex Trebek as Men in Black for an episode of The X-Files.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. In Talladega Nights, asking Ricky Bobby for an autograph.

David Bowie in 'Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me'.  Very short scene and he killed it.

/I don't wanna talk about Judy

Notting HIll.

Hugh Grant is so dreamy.

Kong Skull Island I wanted to like it but it was all over the place between funny serious and campy. They should have stuck with lighthearted but Samuel L Jackson's character kinda ruined it. My boy enjoyed it though and we spent $5 on the DVD with Godzilla bundled in as well so, worth it.

Does NPH count as a cameo in Harold and Kumar? cause that was good.

Thunder Force - a "comedy" superhero movie. Melissa McCarthy played an obnoxious, loser slob, a role she's never played before. She accidentally becomes a superhero thanks to a formula created by Octavia Spencer. Got about 20 minutes in and turned it off. Never even got a smirk watching this piece of crap.

Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar- another piece of crap. My wife loves Kristen Wiig and insisted on sitting through this. I played on my phone while it was on.

As for cameos, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country had the worst. Christian Slater popping in as a crewmember. When I saw him it was like a phonograph needle scraping across a record.

The final season of Castlevania was magnificent. You might be saying "It's an adaptation of a video game. How good could it be?" Firstly, you should stop talking to yourself. It's weird. Secondly, it's really farking good, so go watch it.

Matt Damon in Euro Trip.

He cameo'd the movie because they filmed it in the czech republic and Damon was there filming one of the Bourne movies.

If you haven't seen the movie, go watch it tonight.

Damon's cameo is a tattooed and pierced garage band singer who the main character's girlfriend has been cheating on, who plays at the graduation after-party and sings a song about them cheating on him, while he is there in the front row and she gets on stage to stripper grind on Damon. The main character's name is Scott, and the song and chorus is titled Scotty Doesn't Know.

The song then makes numerous appearances throughout the film to taunt Scott.

My favorite cameo of all time.

Night at The Museum 3: Hugh Jackman.
Can't stand the slapstick shenanigans, but that Wolverine fellow...

Alice Cooper in Waynes World was a good cameo, I always think of his explanation of Milwaukee being an Algonquin word Milli wau kee whenever I see Milwaukee in the news or whatever.

If Will Ferrell counts as a cameo in Wedding Crashers, then Neil Patrick Harris counts as a cameo in Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle.

"Satyricon" by Fellini is just amazing. Watched it this week again after not seeing it for 40 years. I must say it is the only old movie I can even stand to watch. I hate almost all the old movies.

Great White (2021)- That smokin' hottie from 30 Rock leaves NYC and dates a dude with a plane and a dream to ferry tourists to and from a tropical island that unfortunately gets interrupted by a 5 meter great white shark... and is then followed by a what seems like 45 minutes of people arguing in a life raft. Hardly any shark until you get to the end. Which is mostly just swimming, followed by swimming, followed by people holding their breath while swimming underwater indefinitely. Did you know that if you get knocked unconscious after being underwater for 5 minutes and someone gives you their breathe, you'll wake up and can both totally stay underwater for another 5 to 10 minutes?!!?!?

The Legend Of Hei (2021)- Cute animated Chinese kitteh is also a spirit on earth and absolutely adorbs. Avatar-like bending powered battles and a slick anime style. Very enjoyable. Kids loved it and so did I.... although it did have a nearly-too-longish arc that takes place ON A FRIGGIN RAFT and if you read my "Great White" review above, yeah, I found it a bit ridiculous that I watched 2 movies in a row (ha, pun :P) that featured extensive rafting.

Those Who Wish Me Dead (2021)- Lara Croft gives up her globe-trotting treasure hunting ways and decides to become a Smoke-Jumper. While on the job she experiences something awful and ends up with PTSD so her bosses decide that the best thing for her in her time of need is to send her of to a remote watch tower, to be completely alone and cut off from the world because that apparently makes sense. Oh wait! Did you know her ex-boyfriend is Punisher and he's a cop now! Oh, and that British guy that always talks with an American accent in everything except he somehow actually makes his American accent sound British is there too running for his life cuz he pissed of some rich people or something. And he has a kid. I think this movie is supposed to be about him but I'm not sure. He cries a lot. I try to tune him out. Littlefinger, All-Shiny-And-Chrome Beast, and friggin Madea show up for some reason. You know, I dont know what the hell this movie is trying to be and I'm not sure whoever made it knew either. Also, I know Angelina Jolie is really skinny but she looks quite sickly in this. I'm assuming the producers noticed as well because they even threw in a joke about it. Ya, really.

Undergods (2020)- What the hell did I just watch? *checks IMDB* "An otherworldly journey through a Europe in decline - a collection of darkly humorous, fantasy tales about ill-fated characters and doomed fortune." FTFT *checks filming location* Serbia/Estonia. Oh, now I get it.
