Greatest shooter of all time. Nobody has changed the modern game of NBA basketball more.

Ah, the only unanimously-voted League MVP.

This headline will surely upset a certain Farker who loves LeBron and hates how much Steph has damaged his "rightful" legacy.

You are right.

I'm not going to argue that LeBron James is not one of the greats. It's foolish to even try.

But that argument there? That he's at best #5? That's a hard argument to top. You have a hard stat metric (points), a judgement vote (MVP) and a team metric (titles) and, well, when there are exactly four guys who have multiples of all those and three of them are named Jordan, Abdul-Jabbar and Chamberlain, who are universally acclaimed as the best of the best? That's a strong argument.

And when you've joined them? You've pretty much nailed down being among the best of the best yourself.

One thing I don't like to do is compare players of different eras. The game is constantly changing. But you can compare players against their contemporaries, and, well.

Yeah, Steph's in the Greatest of the Greats. Almost certainly the best pure shooter the game has ever seen. I wonder if we'll ever see better.

And only one of them never won a Finals MVP.

Why are you referring to a Black adult as a boy?

Hilarious. First you take it to a stupid extreme by pointing out that he's never won a finals MVP. Then you complain that others are taking it to extremes.

Your boy LeBron says he should be MVP of the regular season. How does that make you feel?

That's a stretch dude, let's not take it there. Your boy is very common slang.

Shout out to my boy Dirk too though, the stretch big has been a huge change as well.

I couldn't care less. He's saying that because he's about to play the Warriors in a winner-makes-the-playoffs game and saying anything but that only makes him look bad, win or lose.

Jokic deserves the MVP. The stats don't lie.

Points per game doesn't really matter past a certain point. Bradley Beal wouldn't have been the MVP if Curry had scored fewer points in the last game of the season, despite also leading his team to the 8th seed.

No one has ever cared who "won the scoring title" except players that get a bonus for doing so.

Oh, and someone up there suggested that this proves LeBron can be no greater than 5th best of all time because hey, in this arbitrary list of things, he's not listed.

As though LeBron would somehow be a better player if he had two fewer MVPs, one less title, four fewer Finals MVPs, and one more scoring title, like Steph. Or if he'd spent his prime not being the best player on his own team...that's what a REAL great does.
