Brilliant, Subbs. Well done.

I still want to know if they found those missing congressional panic buttons in the son's hidey hole in the basement.

Much better than my headline.  Well done.

In a movie script of the 1/6 insurrection, he would be the inside guy who unlocks the doors for the treasonweasels.

"Lamborn did not require employees in the District Office to wear masks, claiming that he would not allow House Leadership to dictate how he ran his office, and he did not permit all employees to social distance. Worse, when Lamborn and other senior members of his staff became infected with COVID-19 in the fall of 2020, Lamborn refused to implement or follow reasonable and responsible COVID-19 protocols."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brief summary of the kind of antisocial dick Lamborn is.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"The suit said Lamborn slept in his DC office during the same time period in which some of his D.C. staff had tested positive for the virus in October, during a week of votes in the US House. Pope also tested positive for the virus by November, according to his suit. Pope was fired, the suit says.

"The workplace safety allegations made by Mr. Pope are unsubstantiated and did not result in the termination of his employment," Lamborn's communications director Cassandra Sebastian said."

Holy farking shiat that article was farking weird. How does the USA expect to ever have credibility when a Congress Rep has his son live in a storage space in the Capitol? What the absolute fark? How is he not being kicked out of the party, and his son arrested for it?

Here's some news.  All republicans are dumbf*cks, assholes and liars.  People who work for republicans are dumbf*cks as well as some of the other attributes.

I hope the staffer sues doug into oblivion and then gets hit by a truck.

I am much more horrified that a man whose son was sleeping in the Capitol has access to Top Secret information about other countries, has influence over funding for things like after-school food programs, housing policy, and antipoverty policy, and has influence over legislation about family law. Lamborn is a goddam menace and he needs to be persona non grata in both parties. As a national security issue. As a diplomatic issue, because he is a farking weakness the USA will not be able to overcome if the USA wants to have an effect on housing, family law, and human rights, with any other government or non-American NGO. The guy is not normal and what his son did is not tolerated in other governments, no matter how rich. If a congress member did that in a developing country, the USA would use it as an example of corruption to deny aid. Now if the USA tries to involve its staff in UN or other aid oversight, Lamborn will be used to smack the entire agency.

Within an hour I could replace Colorado Rep. Doug Lamborn(R) with a few shell scripts and nobody would notice other than his direct staff, who would go about their business unphased.

The Party punished a member who spoke out against a farking insurrection, and refuses to punish a member that raped and trafficked underage girls.

Republicans don't punish their own for being scum, they punish their own for stepping out of line.

You know I have my issues.

I used to brag on my wife too much and post too many pics.

And I tend to relate everything to Colombia and my work in South America.

But I know I can spin a true yarn that most will enjoy(and I have lived a very "visual" life and seen a lot of crazy shiat.

I can swap lies with the best of them.

My best friend and I come up with some very strange shiat.

BUT FOR THE farkING LIFE OF ME I NEVER COULD OF IMAGINED A SENATOR'S KID LIVING IN THE STORAGE UNIT.

That is from the movie Corvette Summer with Mark Hamil living in the Uhaul.

I've been trying to salvage the credibility we ought to have. It's an uphill battle. Sisyphus looks upon me with envy.

FTFAThe suit said Lamborn slept in his DC office during the same time period in which some of his D.C. staff had tested positive for the virus in October, during a week of votes in the US House.

Off-topic, but I've wondered this for a while... So many of these people claim to "sleep in my office" that I'm wondering what their actual setups are. I have an office to myself, but I couldn't sleep there. Do congressional offices have some kind of a separate apartment area or something? Does anyone know?

They all try to present this image of working in their shirtsleeves until late at night, then spontaneously crashing on a couch by their desk, but the logistics of that are ridiculous (blankets, pillows, showers, change of clothes, etc.) I find it hard to believe that these elected officials, many of whom are millionaires, are shuffling around in boxers and t-shirts when the office staff arrives in the morning, so how does this work?

Not 'many' my friend.... the majority. Ignore this statistic at your peril. (Well, unless you are rich, then this means nothing to you... except that there are some other people out here with more money than you have... I know how much that chafes a rich person's arse...)

/BTW, that statistic is now more like 54%... so rest easy tonight 95 percenters! Your lives are in good hands!

For some reason I seem to be the only person who saw that joke. I searched around twitter to see who else made the joke but it's just me.

They get sleeper-sofas.  They shower at the congressional gym.  I'm sure it smells like a hobo's armpit in their personal sanctum.
