That's an old pull, subby, and still in poor taste.

how many 9-11's worth of time does it need to be before it's in good taste?

Damn, this farks people in rural areas so hard.

So, their foreign service is still going strong then?

I don't understand Greyhound's business plan. They bought the Voyageur bus line, which was popular and busy. They cancelled routes that were clearly profitable, and then used a lack of business as an excuse to cancel the rest. This is even before the pandemic finished them off.

You mean I can't get any head at the bus stop?

They'll just rebrand and be back as Mooseknuckle Bus Lines in a couple of years.  Just imagine all of the Canadians queued up to ride the first trip on the Mooseknuckle Express.

The proper term here is "Deep cut".

I'm keen to read some case studies on the decline and collapse of Greyhound in Canada. It can't be a complete coincidence that ridership fell over 40% just after the killing of Tim McLean.

well seriously, who wants to ride on transportation where a dude wad decapitated and partially eaten when he was snoozing? Especially with how the guy who did it is out and about instead of being dropped into a volcano for being a danger to society.

but it's probably more that alternatives were faster and/or more cost effective, and the cost of operation kept going way up.

Every time I see a Greyhound I still look at the windows to see if a passenger is holding up a severed head. No doubt that played a part.

When I moved up to Alaska from Wisconsin back in 95, the person driving the U-Haul took a wet curve slightly too fast and the truck ended up on it's side just a few feet from a big drop off. While waiting there for the tow truck a Greyhound went by. Having ridden Greyhound before, I really felt sorry for them.
