Is DeSantis getting ready to try to resist the extradition of Trump?  If so, no credit for anything to the voter suppressor.

So does this mean I can get a 48oz quadruple Bahama Mama delivered straight to my El Camino at 7:45 am after a meth bender from Applebee's?
/Thanks DeSantis!

That might be all there is to this bill. It does not directly help Nazis, nor does it harm anyone else in any way including hurt feelings.

DeSantis and/or the people bribing him will make out like bandits, since there is no (other) reason for this bill to have been considered.

There is a story out there that the county police where Dotard is holed up is starting to make plans for the eventual indictment and extradition of the orange olive loaf .

I'm guessing their driving through protest bill will get tested with a bunch of gravy team 6 and oaf keepers.

/They'll need one of those cow movers on their squad cars.

This with the earlier Georgia legal to resist illegal arrest potential is the peanut butter and chocolate of bad decisions.

The old open carry laws are no longer needed due to the existence of the breathalyzer.

New ways for service industries to make a buck in these tough times is needed.

So, yeah. DeSantis got one right.

Blind squirrels, broken clocks, all that.

Over/under - how many days until someone going the wrong way on the interstate is found to have to-go drinks in the car?

I'm going with 5.  The bill goes into effect on July 1 - so I have the holiday in my favor...

How was this ever an issue?  Uptight puritan think of the children morans worried someone might be tempted by demon rum and couldn't be trusted to drive home with alcohol from a restaurant, but grabbing a six pack at 7-11 wasn't tempting at all.  Our laws are very outdated.

This is a carry oot carton, ma granny could send me doon the pub to get her one of those and a packet of Silk Cut for her with a written note and some change back in the 70s, I was 8.

For once I agree with the man.  My state, Delaware, had this on a temporary basis.  If you are picking up an order, you could get a cocktail or drink in a sealed container.  I wish it was permanent because it is convenient.

I realize that people hate DeSantis, but this is not an oncoming crisis.  All the law does is make permanent something that's already allowed on a temporary basis.  People have been driving the wrong way down the freeway with 32oz mojitos for months.

Ideas:

1. Any rule or law suspended during an emergency shouldn't be a rule or law in the first place.
2. Any rule or law created during an emergency should remain permanent.

So no store in Michigan should ever be allowed to sell garden supplies and Minneapolis should have a permanent 7pm curfew.  Fine with me.

Hah, I should have anticipated this. I mean to say rules or laws created during an emergency that are more permissive/lenient should be retained.

I mean, if we create a special category where my local brewers can sell me growlers curbside, that should be a thing from the start and remain in place.
