It's a chain I would never go to ofherwise, but PNC Park in Pittsburgh had an Outback with access to the stands. One could slip in, have some food that wasn't mystery meat or drowned in grease and bring a cup of double scotch back to one's seat. It's the only way I could tolerate baseball.

Kind of pointless as most people have never been to every stadium and tried every item so it's just what team are you a fan of.

Have to say though a few years ago the Rays used to have a Cuban burger, a burger with all of the ingredients of a Cuban on top and it was amazing.

Then two year ago they had a deep fried hot dog wrapped in bacon with BBQ beans on the top that I still think about at times. Only had either of them once but they were good.

Does Miller Park still have that TGIFridays out in left field?

Overpriced burnt potato skins and some drink concoction called a June Bug is an American pastime.

I've been to 11 MLB stadiums in my life, and I think the White Sox had the best concessions out of them all with the Brewers a close 2nd. But it's been 8 years since I've been anywhere other than Miller Park (idgaf what they want to call it now, it's still Miller Park), so take that with a grain of salt. Like HFK said, this is a pretty silly thing because few people are going to have been to enough stadiums, and recently enough, to truly be objective.

Okay, why they put the meh nachos from Wrigley on the bracket instead of Old Style, I'll never know.

See, I don't care about food quality. A cold beer in the bleachers at Wrigley could be anything, and as long as it was a Chicago summer afternoon, that beer would be a perfect beer.

Yes, the food and beer are much better at Sox Park, but...it ain't an overpriced crap beer in the bleachers in Wrigley in the summer sun.

I'm shocked the contest is open to Canadians (except for Quebec). Usually sports sweepstakes other than Hockey ignore us.

Some places are Church. Wrigley, Fenway, Those are cathedrals. Dodger Stadium in Chavez Ravine is, as well.

Camden Yards was like the start of the Protestant Reformation. A lot of the spirit of the old, but with some changes.

No home game for the Braves, Padres, Diamondbacks, Rangers, Rockies or A's will ever involve church.

Lucky Stu: Badafuco: Dodger Dog

Dodger Dogs are no longer from Farmer John Smithfield.

Smithfield held out for a better deal, so the Dodgers found a local source who's been supplying Dodger Dogs (the team owns the trademark) all season with no complaints.

Well. That was a lame website. Click bait, indeed.

I suppose that a salmon sandwich would sound weird for a lot of people not from Alaska, BC, WA, OR, or CA, but they are quite tasty. Salmon grills up real nice, especially with a hot grill to get a crisp on it without overcooking the inside. Tomato, onion, and lettuce complete it as well a decent bun. But that's true of all burger-like sammies.

Also, salmon doesn't do as well with tartar sauce like the white fishes do. I prefer a light teriyaki or balsamic reduction over a mayo base. YMMV

Sock-eye sandwich??, isn't that the same as a knuckle sandwich?

Of the ball parks I've been to (Cubs, White Sox, Jays, Tigers and Rockies), Coors Field had by far the best options:

It's like a knuckle sandwich, if you're a little bit high.

Not sure if any other stadiums are doing it now but at least as of a few years ago there was a brewery in the right field concourse area.  Not too bad of a price for a beer at a ballgame either.

If I recall, it's the Sandlot. I thought it was weird/funny that 'Coors Field' had a microbrewery.

Not sure if any other parks have a brewery inside, but I'll be damned if it wouldn't make sense for American Family Stadium (where the Brewers play) to not have one!

Our local minor league ball park has a beer stand called a 'Leinie Lodge' where I believe I've had the red before. Good stuff.

This may sound criminal, but if you ask, they'll pour you a 50/50 mix of the berry weiss and the original -- which I guess sort of makes it a shandy. On a scorching hot day in Iowa, it's damn good.

I know the steak sandwich at Yankee Stadium is trash. It was literally a full steak on a bun. Not sliced, just a slab of steak.

Mamas of Corona is usually my Citi Field go-to, but I kind of want to try the Polar Burger. The local beer selection is pretty awesome too.

The cheesesteaks in Philly are pretty good, if your basing it on the Pats/ Geno's touristy standards. The hotdogs are awful though.

Boog's in Camden Yards is delicious, but I had also spent 4 hours in Pickles before I had it, so I might be misremembering.

The Astros have good hotdogs, which was a nice surprise seeing it was Nolan Ryans brand.

Wrigley's food was pretty awful. Undercooked fries. Flat Pepsi (even though just about everyone in Chicago drinks Coke, no Coke at Wrigley.) Pizza was cold and rubbery and there was no way in hell I was going to eat a hot dog there.

Truist in ATL had amazing homestyle french fries when Francouer was still on the team. I imagine that's gone now but I'll never know because I'm never going back. Braves fans are farking obnoxious douchebags.

Chicago hot dog at Wrigley
Brat at Miller Park
Basically just a beer at Busch Stadium

My brother and I used to go on a baseball/golf trip every summer before, as he put it in a group message between us, his two sons and my son, "our children ruined our lives." But we are bringing the trip back next summer and including our boys, who will be 23, 21 and 17 by then. Destination is Toronto, with a possible stop in Detroit thrown in.

I haven't been to Wrigley in 20 years, but last time I got a grilled italian sausage, dipped in marinara with grilled onions and it was, well, amazing.

It was probably a one-off experience and may have improved since I was there in 2016. Winning championships seems to have that affect.

also, not sure we ever bought anything at Citizens Bank Park for the Phillies, lol. maybe a can of beer or two, if we hadn't smuggled in enough of our own.

but! we would every time pre-game at Victory Beer Hall, where literally everything is good. plus they have Victory beers on tap you often can't get as draft anywhere else. also the part where they have ginormous screens everywhere, so we'd spend at least half the game there (lol, sometimes the entire game)
