Makes sense. At one point nearly all if not all NFL Europe teams were in Germany.

There is a former Bundesliga soccer manager named Lucian Favre but he pronounces his name correctly.

Guessing the word "blitz" will mysteriously not be uttered in the Germany games.

God I wanted that series to die with Covid. Just a giant gimmick at this point.

I had a German exchange student who's brother loved American football he would stay up till 3am to watch games and crap like that. She bought him like 3 jerseys here to take home. I took her to an absolutely terrible Cardinals vs Detroit game to make him jealous. I had 50 yard line seats like 10 rows up so it was neat to be there but man that game did not make football look exciting.

If only they had an entire developmental league to showcase the German audience.

17 game seasons! Games in Mexico and Germany! What could possibly go wrong with making massive fundamental changes the fans have explicitly told you they definitely don't want?

You're not at all wrong, but the fact that the owners can ignore fans thanks to all that sweet broadcast TV money makes the NFL sound even less sustainable.

Hooker with a Penis: that game did not make football look exciting.

which one (sarcasm).  we used to play the Loins like, once every 4 years.  now, for wahtever reason, the Crudinals play them every other week it seems.

as bad as DET and AZ have been, that matchup used to be, "hm.....we don't see this very often."  now its like half the schedule is us at DET, them here.

but yeah, i remember a really bad, boring ass game i think in 2019.

Close, it was Dec 2018 and Rosen was QB for the Cards I think he had like 200 yards that game Matt Stafford was worse with 100 yards. I was really disappointed only the 2nd time Ive gone to a live game and I went all out spent something like $1000 between seats and souvenirs etc only to see one of the worst games in a long long time

*sigh*

I hope Rosen banks every single farking dime he ever made.  We screwed him.  I'm not saying he was slated for HOF, but, we farked him.  that Rams castoff sucked.  I won't even google his name.  ok i just did.  sam bradford.  plan was for him to mentor Rosen.

game 1, nfl commentators:  "new HC, new OC, new system, new QB, offense seemed a little confused...."

game 2, nfl commentators:  "head HC, new OC, new system, new QB, offense still a little confused...Growing pains."

game 3, nfl commentators:  "head HC, new OC, new system, new QB, Ok, not really liking what we're seeing in the desert.  Offense still a little confused...."

New HC:  "yeah maybe we are geting a little too cute offensively.  i'll talk to the OC."

game 4, nfl commentators:  "OK, something's not working.

New HC:   "yeah I told the OC to cut down the playbook.  Bradford isn't getting it."

game 5, nfl commentators:  "what the hell is AZ doing?"

Organization:  "YEAH WE FIRED THE HC AND OC.  released Bradford.  Josh is our guy!"

had to relearn a new system after like, week 7 or some shiat, no weapons, then we canned the coach, hired a rookie OC, then dumped him to get Kyler Murray.  Paid off.  But.....we did not do right by him.

Who is going to watch a game that starts at 130am EST?

So since it doesn't look like we're getting a dedicated thread yet for the schedule release, I'll say it here:

If you've ever considered sports media obnoxious, go to Timbuktu the last week of September/first week of October.  Find Kamar-Taj. Do literally ANYTHING except be within range of American sports media that week.

Because that's the week Saint Tawmy of The Seven Rings comes to Gillette.

iron_city_ap: The London Jag-u-ours have a Europe game? Shocking!

The London games are a suckfest this season:

Jets/Falcons
Jags/Dolphins

Also:

If you ever have the chance to see your favorite team play overseas, DO IT!

/Went to Seahawks at Raiders in 2018...40th birthday trip.
//We outnumbered the Raider Nation that day.

I've never been out of the country, not even to Canada, and I've never made it to a real live Patriots game in my 45 years on this earth. I'm not sure I'd want to go to England just to see them. We've played twice, both as the road team (because there is no farking way in this world or several others that Kraft is ever giving up a home game ever again). Pretty sure we're gonna have to wait for Mac or Jared to become the next You-Know-Who to get invited again.
