He looks more uncomfortable on skates than I do.  And they just let him camp in the crease.  Poor defense.

It's just a coincidence he's the only guy on his team with a white helmet.

And I'll bet that he's almost as good as Kim Jong Un at golf.

Putin's penis must be microscopic.

Amazing how after all these years the most popular elected senior official in modern times in Russia still arouses such hostility, fear and annoyance in westerners.

Could it be that the miserable clutch of "leaders" in the western world just don't play in the same league? Our current mummy-in-chief? Portly Prez ManBaby? Smooth salesman O-Bomber? Please.

Putin has outfoxed all the opposition. Of course he has to work with his wits because Russia's economic and military power has always been wobbly and more bluff than punch.

Well, a bit better than that - Putin's actually aware that he's not supernatural god leader.  He preaches it for the masses, sure - but he doesn't believe his own press releases.  Evil, aware of reality, and willing to put some actual work in is gonna beat evil, batshiat, and who cares what the rubes think pretty much every time.

/mind you it's sort of like watching a turd and a pile of puke fight it out
//but still
///it's honestly what makes Putin the scarier of the two most days - Putin's competent and not nuts - just evil

In my 55+ Beer league near Toronto, with many guys in their 70's, Putin would clearly be the worst player in the league.  He can't skate.

Watching him out there was embarrassing. He'd be below-average for my beer league. It's pretty easy to score a ton of goals when all you have to do is camp in front of the net, wait for your retired professional team mates to put the puck right on your stick, and tap it past a goalie giving you the entire net to shoot at without worrying about the defense since no defender is willing to go within 10 feet of you.

As long as he brings a two-four for after the game he is still in.

CSB: I once went to a Legends of Hockey game in Calgary, where the old stars were playing the team from the fire department. Lots of fun, and the old stars batted them around like toys, but the goalie stopped every Lanny MacDonald shot. The crowd was going absolutely nuts, laughing and chanting. No hard feelings, I'm sure, just unlucky bounces for Lanny, but it made for great entertainment.

End CSB

Heh, have a similar story only the goalie stopped Wendel Clarke on a point blank wrist shot with the glove.  My BiL works for the fire department and they gave him endless shiat for never being that good in league games.

It's kind of pathetic how laughably obvious it is that they're letting him score. I love me some hockey, but I'd be embarrassed if the opposition had to make it that obvious they're trying to make me look good.
