Kind of an anticlimax with Citeh backing into the title with ManU choking at home to Lester.

I have a feeling subby sat on that headline for a while.

So, you can win a championship from a game you didn't play? And they say soccer is boring. OTOH, I still am inclined to hate Man U.

Good thing it wasn't Tottenham in second. Man-on-Tot action doesn't sound as good.

Now that I think of it, Arsenal in second may have made for an interesting headline too.

To be fair, United started with a lineup today that was full of guys mothballed on the bench for the last several months. Anything short of a Leicester win today would've been justifiably embarrassing...for them.

A few days ago, some Farker suggested that the two MLS teams in NYC should be New York City United and New York City City, and I've been laughing about it since.

not sure why it's THAT funny, but NYCFC IS Citeh's farm ugly stepchild club, and the Red Bulls are, shockingly, part of the Red Bull group with Leipzig as a big brother

Yes, that is how sports based around points totals works. The team with the most points - the most successful team over a season - wins. In cases like this, where ManU could have won, it adds a whole bunch of tension at the end of the season.

Citeh's first premier league win wasn't decided until the very last minutes of the 2011-2012 season, in a super-dramatic fashion.

You'll find knock-out competitions in football, too, but the leagues are points-based.

Citeh deserved to lose against Chelsea last weekend, but I hope they get it right in the Champions Cup final.
