For the first time in god knows how long, I actually knew the tune to the headline and was singing it by the second line.
+1 from me.

I wonder if they started to crap your pants when their contact in the us side suggested that maybe they could fall victim to some old-fashioned extrajudicial killin'

It was all fun and games right up until they went and messed with the wrong people.  I'd cross a pig farmer before I would cross an oil man.

I mean, I know it's Russia, but it still sounds weird to me that these hackers are treating this like some sort of normal business transaction.  "We just want to make money."  Yeah, we have a bit of a different word for that here.

It sad that maybe the only way to cut down on a lot of this. Wipe out a few generations of their families as a warning to the others that there are consequences to such actions as they make far too much money through this type of criminal act.

Yeah, as soon as I saw the "apolitical" line in thier quote, I thought of Tom Lehrer. It also came to mind with the recent uncontrolled de-orbit of the Long March 5 booster, both the "once they go up, who cares where they come down" and the "In English or German, I know how to count down, und I'm learning Chinese, says Wehner von Braun"

/Subby, obviously.

Hold a pipeline hostage, and piss off Oil guys, and a whole bunch of southern guys with firearms... I just don't think a simple apology and explanation of their business model really cuts it.

Unless they're dumb enough to be in the United States, they have nothing to fear from Meal Team Six.
