Aw....

The tragedy of our beloved pets is that we only get to be with them for such a short time.   I don't believe in God or Heaven, but I so wish that the Rainbow Bridge is real.

I have a recurring theme in dreams at the moment that my dog dies.

I'm not pleased with my brain for this.

/I'm also not sleeping well at the moment
//I assume there's a connection

My dog is currently 13 years old and riddled with lumps. She's not in any kind of distress and we've had some biopsied and they aren't cancerous.

That story makes my stomach hurt.

I have a siilar one. In it, I think I see my boy Coffee off in the distance so I run to him. As I get closer, it turns out it's not him but I can't be sure because he's just a bit too far away from me to tell.

That is - no joke- the definition of torture. I hope that one resolves soon.

My bulldog is somewhere in the 15-16 range, which is ancient for the breed. She's totally deaf, and has arthritic hips, and I'm so grateful for this pandemic because I've gotten to stay home and work here with her sleeping under my desk all day every day, because I know it's not going to last much longer.
