Who in their right mind would eat at a buffet

chitownmike: What?

Don't feel bad, I read it as "graze at bullets" and just figured they legalized mass shootings or something.  I just wasn't as perplexed as you.  Seemed normal enough for NJ to me.

True story:  I ate at a Chinese buffet in NJ once and it was probably the most awful restaurant I've ever been to.

Pro-Tip:  Do not go to Chinese restaurants that locals don't go to. There might have been 1 or 2 other customers, but a good Chinese buffet would have had a full parking lot.

I always ask myself how places like that stay in business and I always leap to the same conclusion.  Everything is a front for organized crime.  Even Fark.

I went to a kind of buffet a few weeks ago in NJ. It was a rodizio, which, to the unfamiliar, is where servers come around with skewers of meat and carve some off if you ask. Since it's eat until you're full, it's a buffet, just not self serve.

/I already had both shots weeks prior

Better tip...don't go to a Chinese restaurant that's full of white people.  If Chinese people aren't eating there then you shouldn't too.

For some reason I'm reminded of one of my favorite Malcolm Tucker lines from The Thick of It:
"I've got more on my plate than a spinster at a wedding"
