Aww, poor fellas. Gee, I wonder if there's something they could do to stop their whining the reminders of their cheating?

They can go fark off and when they get there, they can continue past that and keep on farking until they have farked all the way off. Then, the can go fark themselves. Farking cheating whiners! Fark them!

What a bizarre thing to do.
Are the cheaters asking MLB to fine opposing clubs because the fans hurt their fee fees?
They know what they did! They should take the abuse until everyone is bored with it.
Twenty years should do it...

/f*ck the "Astros"

For a pack of underhanded cheating snake eyed pukes  who farked over  everyone in their way, then, when they got caught red handed . hid  and said nothing while everyone above them took the punishment, fhey stonewalled  and dodged all the quesrtions and shame sent their way,. Well it surprises me a little thatbrotherhood of scandalous cowards and liars and scheming self servers like them is also filled with delicate and fragile feeliings that need to be protected from baseball fans at any cost.

I wonder if this bit of victim;s theatrics from the AssTrolls will end up backfiring and cause more fans to heckle and boo them farther into the season?

Expect the fans of every team they face away from Houston to make extra efforts to taunt and annoy the Astros every chance they get the entire rest of the season, instead of just getting it out of their systems early. The whining and complaining by the Astros has guaranteed this.

They have nobody but themselves and MLB to blame.

The players were never punished for doing the actual cheating, so of course pissed off fans are going to give it to the players.

MLB could have heavily fined the players and/or vacated the title for the season, but they chose to do nothing. Hinch and Cora are both managing again.

As far as I know, Beltran is the only one still out of a job, but I'm also convinced that he was the mastermind behind it, and that the 06 NLCS was the reason why. If he only knew he was getting a slow 12-6 curve.

You're absolutely right. MLB didn't even TRY to catch them. They got caught by some stats geeks.

In other words:

Seems about right for Twitter.

Ok, then joke. No one told you not to, in fact I encouraged it. Just, you know, use one of the events that actually happened. Just so weird to point out people are buying a false story, but hey, people hate the Astros, so whatever, let's roll with the lie. That is Republican politician logic right there. But you guys are having fun I guess. It's no sweat off my back.

But you know, it makes me feel like the actions of type of person that would also believe every unsourced article they read on Facebook because it agrees with their worldview.

It's not a problem of sign stealing. Everyone does that to some degree. That's always been part of the game and isn't really different than catching a pitcher tipping his pitches, or figuring out a pitcher's patterns. If it were to happen naturally, like a runner on second picking up the signs and sending a signal to the batter, it would be part of the game. At that point, it's up to the pitcher and catcher to make some changes. Plus, it could really only happen in one condition and could be remediated by multiple pickoff attempts and keeping the runner too uncomfortable to read the signals.

The problem was that they were using a camera to steal the signs and then relay it to the batter with the trash cans. There was no gamesmanship because in theory, every batter could potentially know every pitch. A hitter still has to be able to hit a major league pitch, but it's a lot easier when you know if you're getting a fastball or curve.

Do I think that every single Astros player was in on it? No. But there were definitely enough guys who did and who benefitted.

They didn't just "steal signs".  They were watching a live feed of the catcher's signs and using the trash can to signal to the batter what the next pitch it.

There's one thing about a runner on second base trying to take a look at the signs, but this is an entirely new level of cheating.

Where the hell did I defend them? Especially since I repeatedly said to make fun of them, just not for something that didn't actually happen.

You're literally just making up stuff about my position because you can't get over something that happened years ago, to the point where you have to use fake stories to rag on them again.

It was investigated based on multiple accusations. Evidence was discovered and they were punished.

The op's story about complaints.

Also, "him to die on" brah, it's not that serious. Just weird how everyone immediately accepted this was true when it wasn't even well sourced and already had reporters claiming it's false, just because they hate the Astros. This tendency is kind of sad, and worth pointing out. Y'all the ones dying in the hill of "who cares if it's a lie, I don't like them, so I'll just use this to make fun of them."

Fark the Astros, but fark people's willingness to just buy into false stories so easily just because of bias as well.

Not a Houston fan, but every team and every player in every professional sport cheats just as hard as they can.

Get out with your next level nonsense.  It's a historically escalating cheating technology, and it all becomes normalized eventually.

Oh, no, the 1860 Gotham baseball team set a scout with a binocular vision device out in center field!  That's taking it to a new level, and we are very upset about such rampant cheating!  He's signaling the batter with a square of colored cloth.  Why, in my day, we used a simple telescope and and simply waved at the batter to let them know the curve was changeup was coming!  Scandalous technology!  We are outraged!

Is that referencing the Astros for what they did or MLB for what they didn't do?

Houstonian here.  I don't care about baseball, but this level of animosity four years later makes me want to go all in for them.  I love an underdog.

I can't help wondering how many of the people f*cking with the Astros act like January 6 is ancient history.

Red Sox fan here. I thought Houston was clever. The stealing signs stuff didn't bother me, baseball has always been about being sneaky and stuff.

That said, put on your big boy pants Houston. Give your balls a tug, eh? Fans can boo you and taunt you all day, it's why your professionals and you get paid.

Ker_Thwap: Not a Houston fan, but every team and every player in every professional sport cheats just as hard as they can.

Hilarious coming from a group of people that cheated.

Did those clowns expect everyone to come together and say "Kumbaya!"

Fark their feelings.
