That's what Paramount was doing in the late 60s - mid 70s, aka The ABC Movie of the Week.  Good campy fun, and hopefully they'll bring back some of those originals.  It's been decades since I've seen Satan's School for Girls or Scream, Pretty Peggy.

This means you'll have a month-and-a-half head start on making A Quiet Place Part II fart jokes on Twitter before it hits streamers when everyone will make the same jokes

The writer of the article is a 13 year old boy.

I want one of the streaming services to pick up all those after school movies we had.

No longer satisfied with filling the platform with Yellowstone spinoffs

Dear lord, REALLY? They're doing those? Listen, Yellowstone suffers from Costner  Overindulgence Syndrome. It's modern cowboy cosplay with him chewing up scenery--and not in a fun Nic Cage way---it's all him talking affectedly and pulling up his pants like Tommy Lee Jones handling a volcanic crisis.

I didn't really notice any difference between CBS All Access and Paramount Plus except for the Indiana Jones movies, which I already have.

/well I don't have The Crystal Skull

Subby missed the part where it says they're adding a THOUSAND movies next month.

That's impressive.

I'll have to see if I can find a list and see if it's worth signing up and binging a some.

Great, more hours of my life wasted trying to decide what I want to watch for a half hour and then give up on.

The slow death of the screen.

I have to go walk this old lady down the street on how to sign up for it today. I could almost swear she said she has NO email address.

I signed up for this app for the Spongebob movie and camp koral.   Part of the reason I've kept it is the Top Gun movie was going to be on soon but now it's been moved to theater release.

I guess I'll finish lower decks and Picard and cancel.

Since the movies they are releasing do not seem all that great.

Oh, so now you're expecting me to make friends, too?
I got into the whole binge watching game so I DON'T have to interact with people.

Specifically the kind who would think signing up for increasingly obscure streaming services is a good idea.

He just wants you to know that he pirates movies and TV shows because it's the closest he gets to feeling like a badass.

Just got back, she had it on her Fire farking stick the whole time signed in and everything. I assume that her and her grandson didn't know how to use it.

I've been subscribing for soccer coverage and haven't found enough movies to make it worthwhile otherwise. They did put up the Godfather III recut, but in general the service only has a tiny amount of Paramount's vast movie catalogue.
