ooooo, i like to make mine with aleppo chili flakes! or urfa chili flakes, for the smokier times too!

OR just throw all that "prep" right out the window, and shake a few drops of Louisiana Hot Sauce into your favorite honey just before serving. OR go right-stirfire-crazy-like and stir in a clove of minced/microplaned fresh garlic with the hot sauce!

NOW put that shiat all over your hot and crispy pizza, and your warm and awesome pasta!

ahhhhhh, just do it. and put some on your greens, AND on your salads! damn, this shiat is YUM 😉

I've been cooking for so long that I often forget that things I assume are common knowledge are, in fact, not. For example: how to make hot honey.

I presume you put something spicy in honey, and then heat it.

you simply simmer honey with some sort of chili pepper, or a chili pepper product, like hot sauce.

Okay then.  Good article.

Relatively short & to the point, just the way these should be.  Not 3 pages of how they grew up with bees & an accident did this, blah blah blah.

Don't use raw honey because heating will destroy many of the natural beneficial elements.

Or just go ahead and wave your arms in the air.

Oh fark off you pathetic old dullard"New things that people enjoy are bad!" amiright?
Hot honey is fabulous, and fabulous on pizza.  Especially the crusts of a real doughy pizza.

Easy to make too.  Just let a few sliced habaneros simmer in a bottle of honey for about 5 to 10 minutes, let cool a bit (so it doesn't melt the bottle) and funnel it back into it's bottle.

Who knew that a sweet thread on honey would cause so much aggression?

You know what's good?  Water.

Stop putting f*cking flavors/sugar/carbonation/barley/hops in everything, dumbasses.

This is what you sound like.

We should all just accept foods the way they are and not do anything new with them.

I've got a bottle of heatonist nugget honey in the cupboard. It's OK I guess then again I don't regularly use honey for anything. I think the last thing I used it for was a glazed carrots recipe but I don't remember much of the spice coming through.

I'm lazy. I'll add honey to something like chicken or stir fry and then mix in Sriracha or hot sauce.
