I've always thought that ballparks replacing whatever item got lost due to a home run or foul ball would be a smart play. Everybody loves seeing drinks and food go flying and the subsequent replacement of those items would make air as well I'm sure. The ROI on giving away tiny amounts of free consumables would be ridiculously high. Maybe some places already do that.

I don't know baseball so maybe this is just me but, it was a Cincy homer... he could have just let it go and had a story to tell about the time he saved his nachos.... now he's got nothing.

That could be a tragedy.  Busch Stadium nachos are fantastic.

Actually, I think everyone else also pointed out what I didn't know I was subconsciously posting... but, in the words of every Cuban outfield coach I ever had (which was ALL of them)... DOS MANOS!

Strictly baseball, drop the nachos and cover that left hand.

Nah, you just bring a kid and then the whole stadium guilt-trips anyone around them who catches the ball into giving it to your kid.

The look on the kid's face is like, "Dad, I am disappoint."

Are you crazy?!  Do you have any idea what kind of margins you're talking about.
