This. Reagan and other conservatives didn't hate the USSR because of their human rights violations and other horrific shiat. They hated them because they were competition.

With the fall of the USSR, it became a lot easier for American corporations to do business there, and that's all that matters.

The story of the past 25 years has been watching every conservative policy be demonstrated to be a failure.

Now instead of deciding to help their fellow man, conservatives en mass have turned into vicious nihilists. Extremist conservative parties want for their nations the same fate Russia is suffering: To be reduced to a source of things for that "government by organized mob" Roosevelt spoke of to steal from.

While conservative voters never hated the USSR because of its disgusting totalitarianism and Big Brotherism, they hated it because it was officially and evangelically atheist.

Now that Putin, like any other fascist swine, puts on a facade of religion, they LOVE it.

It's so weird to live in a world where the wealthy can be proven to be breaking the law, working against the best interests of the country, and buying governments through donations and outright bribery yet the majority of the citizens who are getting the shaft do nothing.

Some of them praise the same criminals who are screwing them.

I was once told by someone who was on the wrong side of the Berlin wall that the people won't fight until there's nothing left to lose. Give the people a minimum of comforts and they will be too scared to lose it to stop those who are stealing their life.

Who do you think made the laws?

Giving money to politicians should be illegal. Like $20 per person per year maximum. Anything more than that, you get a felony, 10 years minimum in jail.

All elections funded by the state. All radio/tv have to give equal time on air to candidates or else they get their licenses revoked.

That would fix a lot of the problems.

Vladimir Putin fears her associations with capitalist candy products and hates it when people touch his butt because butt touching might permanently alter his sexuality in unpredictable ways.

Everyone has different triggers.
Putin's triggers are hilarious.

If Putin was scared of spiders and worried about his eyeballs, the taunt would be "Hey Putin, if you don't behave, spiders will lay eggs in your eyeballs."

So what exactly do you think is relevant?

The headline says "Russian" but the facts say someone who fled Russia and is a critic of Putin, and was against Brexit and Scottish independence, despite Farkers frequently claiming "Russia" was behind both campaigns. That thread also mentions Vladimir Chernukhin, who also fled Russia and is now a British citizen. Is a British citizen not allowed to donate money? Or do you just hate immigrants?

Meanwhile, Labour could lose a by election soon.

Labour is on course to lose Hartlepool to the Conservatives for the first time in over half a century, according to a new poll of voters in the constituency.
Ahead of a parliamentary by-election in the town on 6 May pollster Survation found the Tories winning 49 per cent of the vote in the seat, compared to 42 per cent for Labour.
And in a surprise development, the Northern Independence Party clocks in at third place, ahead of the Liberal Democrats, Greens, and Reform UK (formerly known as the Brexit party).
The defeat, which would be just the third time in 50 years a governing party has gained a seat at a by-election, would be a huge blow for Keir Starmer, who installed a controversial ally to contest the seat.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/hartlepool-election-poll-keir-starmer-b1827153.html

Fun facts.
In the last 45 years only one Labour leader has been elected Prime Minister.

Every Labour government ever has left office with unemployment higher than when they took office.

The last election in 2019 was the worst for Labour since the 1920s.

2021-04-23 11:48:55 PM
Amazingly in the last seventy years, since 1950, only two Labour prime ministers have won general elections. Harold Wilson and Tony Blair.

Your keyboard works.

Congratulations.

Now, try and make an effort to form words that make sense in English, instead of devoting your time to idiocy, ad hominems, and whataboutery.

You must believe that everyone else on Fark is as devoted to their political positions as you are to the Conservative Party, right?

It's the only explanation for why you attack me as some kind of SNP fanboy.

But, and this might rock your world, most normal people aren't slavishly devoted to political parties like you are.

In my voting life, I've voted SNP, Labour and Lib Dem because those parties have appealed to me, and so gained my vote.

But you're devoted to the Conservatives, so you make excuses for all their farkups, try and handwave all their corruptions away and gaslight yourself into thinking that Boris Johnson is competent.

And you assume that your enemies on Fark are exactly as bereft of values as you are. I'm a Scot, therefore, in your mind, I should be as into the SNP as you are the Tories. You've got the North American politics as team sport mentality, where you can't accept that your team is a pile of shiat, so you end up supporting people as moronic, craven and lacking in values as Boris Johnson.

Look, I'm fine with you being so deluded that you think that Boris Johnson is anything approaching a good human being, but don't drag me down to your level.

pls and thanx
