Only two things I care about in a chain restaurant: ambience and decor.

I had to Google it from the last TGIF thread.

The closest one to my new residence is permanently closed.

The next closest one is 45 minutes away.

Desperation smells like glazed doughnut burgers. It reeks of beetus and tears.

Will we also get to ride the rails in a boxcar and shovel elephant shiat while going blind on moonshine? The kids want an immersive experience these days.

Circus themed.. how? I guess they sell cotton candy at circuses (or did when circuses were still a thing), but every other item there baffles me.

Its themed to carnival/state fair, traveling circus/ theme park junk food..
What's not to understand?

TGI Friday's? I'll start with the French onion soup. I haven't had it in years, but I remember it being fantastic.

Carnivals and circuses are not the same, at all. They may have once been connected, but they are very different now. And even if they weren't, this shiat doesn't seem very relevant anyway, other than being over-the-top unhealthy.

Idk it's a question that needed answering.

Is there a food that isn't made edible by frying it? Or is a circus peanut impossible to make edible? Only one way to find out.

The doughnut burger thing just...appalls me. I eat junky greasy food, I'm not opposed to that. But the doughnut burger...it's not cool. If you are going to abuse your body like that, have some damn self-respect and do heroin.

ohhhhh, let us not even get into the, I still do not even understand how to process it, the story of how my wife's friend's mother got a rusty coathook in her water at Olive Garden. (honestly my meter points more to the mother, but the world will never know)

/I buy my own coathooks bulk and bring them with me

Yeah, haven't been to one in probably close to a decade, but recall that they were actually half decent for "chain casual".

Just moved and there's one a block over from me, but their poor attempt at outdoor seating has overpowered my curiosity.

/They dragged a bar table and two chairs outside, that's it.

I don't know where it is to begin but it will probably end in a cardiac cath lab.

Oh man it's so good though.

But it's gotta be full donuts on each side. Another place cut one in half and put the glazed side toward the party...it's just not enough to hold it.

/but it's definitely a "very rarely and only at the fair" food I've eaten exactly those two times. (Since the Texas State Fair costs a goddamn fortune)
