Bridgerton was at least pretty to look at.

I only saw a minute or two while my wife watched. I said "Your porn has an awful lot of talking."

There have been a few Netflix shows I've thrown on because they use HDR well

I pay for:
Hulu without ads
Netflix
HBO Max
Showtime
Starz
Cinemax

Of all of these, Netflix gives me the least value. That's why they are experiencing cancellations.

Hey, I kinda like Bridgeton. It's funny and got my wife in the mood when I don't wanna spend time on foreplay.

Are we sure it's down because people haven't watched Thunder Force yet?

I finally cut ties with Netflix because:

- the garbage-to-decent ratio was way too high
- same with the original-to-outside media ratio
- they cancel practically everything after 2-3 seasons because f*ck you, that's why
- the price keeps going up anyway

No thanks. If it works for you, great, but I have other means for watching Netflix stuff if I really get the urge. And they've always been sh*t for trying to find anything pre-2000.

The first few episodes were funny. After that, it felt like they just forgot to put in any humor and doubled-down on the drama.

FTFA:

Global paid net subscriber additions: 3.98 million vs 6.2 million expected, according to Factset

Still, the company's revenue grew 24% year over year and was in line with its beginning of quarter forecast, Netflix said. It also delivered a strong beat on earnings compared to Street estimates.

The real story here is that investors are stupid speculators.

So Netflix didn't add as many subscribes as they though they would, but they still added 4 million. And revenue is up 24 percent. And never mind that they have 200+ million subscribers and $5 billion cash on hand.

Netflix seems to target its content selection at the 18 to 34 year old range, which for most services is a good thing. Apparently however Netflix appears to be currently under the assumption that all 18 to 34 year olds are jenkem enthusiasts.

Netflix sucks now. As the old saying goes, you can never go broke by underestimating the American public, but they managed to do it. They thought if they had original content, they could get people to watch regardless of the quality. Turns out stretching a movie premise into 10 episodes of 1 hour TV with a massive cliffhanger at the end of each only works a few times before people catch on to the gimmick.

That's not as bad as Outlander. Every time I walk by while my GF is watching it, a woman is being beat up or raped. Is this really what women want to watch?

Netflix shares plunged over 7% due to a 🌈🐻 dumping a massive position for some increased liquidity requirements due to increasing short interest.

How about Netflix start renewing good series instead of cancelling everything after 2 seasons?

Every think of that, numbskulls?

It's really hard to create good series, considering how many different series are being created by all the services (plus cable, plus over the air).  So instead of cancelling all the good ones, perhaps you should renew them.  Then people might pay for your garbage.

Every streaming service show is about magic teenagers. Pass.
