Still going strong.

My God... I like South Park just fine, but That Guy just went apeshiat overintellect on a dirty cartoon. Blah, blah blah, blah blah...

haven't kept up with the show much in the last few years, but the Vaccination Special was fantastic

Jesus tiddy-farking Christ that article was a steaming pile of blah-blah!

I'm so cool that the last episode of SP I watched was the World of Warcraft one.

Imagine writing an article about South Park regaining relevance. Lol.

If it doesn't have Mr Hanky it isn't worth watching.

The most shocking part of that article is that fact that Montell Jordan's "This Is How We Do It" only came out two years before South Park first aired.

That is blowing my mind.

"Well y'ain't Fiona Apple. And if y'ain't Fiona Apple, I don't give a rat's ass."

Wow, AV Club; that tome reached The Atlantic -level of excessive length and pedantry.

I hadn't seen that Stone/Parker list of their worst episodes, but they're 100% correct about the first 3 seasons

Yeah, that was kind of an interesting look at the show, but it was very big on both those things, and more than a little obsessive about how the show had referenced classic holiday animations.

I kind of liked it better when it was just the kids farting around doing kid stuff. The political episodes and the "message" episodes aged about as well as Scary Movie and its sequels. After three seasons or so have passed you need to read a WIki article on whatever social issue was up their craw that week in order for most of the jokes to land.

Plus their politics is just the worst kind of libertarian centrist "Come up with a reason I don't care about anything and make fun of anybody who actually does." garbage.

They started killing Kenny on every episode again?
Those bastards!

I actually didn't watch South Park until someone told me that, I thought it was hilarious.

South Park jumped the shark at PC Principal.

does this mean they're finally going to come out with some merch?

Y'all still have cable TV?

If they wanted to remain relevant, they would stop forcing out the crap they have recently and, given how rapidly that can slap together an episode, merely have the occasional topical episode when it's timely.

South Park has been streaming online for over a decade.

Nah, that shiat was funny. Randy growing weed was most definitely not funny. At all. But they kept pushing it.

Yup. I'm sick of Randy and the whole tegridy bullshiat. Go back to two elements per episode, and quit with the dumb shiat.

The school shootings ep was funny though

Much like x-files, I preferred the stand alone episodes. Some shows just don't need a continuous story line.

They don't really bother now we know how and why he returns.

But that may be just my opinion since the Coon and Friends episodes were the peak of the kids storylines.

Bring back an old joke with a new twist.  Officer Barbrady kills Token every episode.

I enjoyed those too. But the last ep that left me jaw agape was the cash for gold ep when Stan called in to the shopping network. "Hi, uh, you should kill yourself".

My brother and I still toss lines from the movie at each other all these years later.

I still can't believe they broke up the boys.  At least we got Mr. Hat back instead of Mr. Service.
