I can just imagine him sitting there with his pipe perusing volumes of forgotten lore.  When suddenly there came a tapping, a rapping on his chamber door.  Only this and nothing more.

Sorry I wasn't here tonight. I fell asleep. I didn't sleep last night because some guy was yelling all night in Navajo. He started it again just about 2 hours ago, and the nurses are sick of his sh*t, as well as the rest of the floor.

Most of the people here speak Navajo. It's Flagstaff, after all. I had a roommate who was Havasupai. They live in the Grand Canyon and have mail service via burro. No joke.

I don't know how long I'll be here. Arizona state Medicaid (AHCCCS) is only supposed to pay for 30 days, but I'm at 31 now. I guess as long as I'm showing progress, I'm not a lost cause, according to the state.
