Well I started drinking at 6 when I was making dough for crescent rolls and I thought it would be a great idea to put orange marmalade in there so they'll be tasty and sweet because, Paddington Bear supremely and all that.

They came out all mushy and underdone inside. Now I have to spend twice as much on flour and marmalade to renew my stocks, ergo this "investigation" is completely false.

this is the kind of BS way of saying shiat that puts magnetic spin on it.

"People consume less alcohol as the price of food increases, suggesting this may influence the decision to buy it, a new study led by Cardiff University has found. "

Oh gee you think?

Allow me:

When you have to choose between food or go hungry, people tend to choose food.

Maybe another way of saying that's even more honest:

People consume less alcohol frivolous stuff as the price of food fundamental needs of life increases, suggesting this may influence the decision to buy ithumans may have some sense of self preservation, however weak it maybe, a new study led by Cardiff University people who  didn't find the situation intuitively obvious has found. "

All of this. People buying less of a luxury item when necessary items go up on price is not exactly a groundbreaking discovery.

I drink less when I'm broke, because I'm broke.
