This really does seem like an especially bizarre expansion.

Maybe the salon license allows them to analyze your hair clippings for DNA, drug use, or any information future technology allows? In order to serve you content and advertising more tailored to your genetics and current habits.

Username checks out.

While your post may be on the far end of possibility, I would not rule it out.  My thoughts on this are that this service is not about hair cutting, but as a means to hold you captive for 30 minutes to an hour and a half.  During that time, I'm sure that one will be bombarded with Prime adverts and provided easy access (you've probably already signed in to the salon with your Amazon account) to point and purchase.

It's gonna sell more product. And what Amazon does better than anyone is focus on what customers want, and keep them coming back.  The entire hair salon model is basic and inconsistent in quality. A little amazon focus there could do wonders.

This is capitalism, you don't have to know jack shat about anything, to udnerstand the power you have when you own everything.

You can be 100% pure unashamed evil, literally eat a live baby in public evil, and no one can not pay you monye every day, you can not be removed from culture when you own everything the culture needs in order to exist. So we just have to pay them to keeping feeding off us like the parasites they are.

Anyone/anything that owned enough stuff is equivalent to any Monarch. And by my ideology The parasitic practice of Monarchy is way over due for extinction so we can start to evolve again.

You don't have to.  You just have to know how to collect.   Big.

The reason the salon model is inconsistent in quality is that everything depends on the skill of the hairdresser.  So if you follow a given hairdresser, you get basically the same result.  "Whoever is available" results in... um... you might not want to go out until you get that fixed.
