Silly neckbeard - cereal is for kids.

Apparently this is not a repeat from 1985.  As a child I think I was outraged that my parents wouldn't buy this for me.

that X-Entertainment guy has been known for a love of buying ancient cereals (and eating them!)

It does seem to be a bit of an overreaction.

They're Kix, and no child or adult in the history of the world has ever been excited to eat Kix.

I will give him that one, though.

ugh, Kix? really?

when I was a kid, we were never allowed sugary cereals (mainly because dirt-poor) - I'd much rather have eaten Chex or Crispix or Shredded Wheat or even Special-K, than farking Kix.

/man, now I want Crispix
//you know... 'cos it's crispy
///times two!

actually, tell a lie, we were allowed to have Life. which I never really enjoyed, it's just got this weird sort of unidentifiable funk and is viscerally-unpleasant.

Thank you, Joe Biden, for the normalcy that makes this ridiculous outrage possible.

Maybe they'll taste good

...

HE HASN'T farkING TRIED IT?  He's seriously biatching this much about cereal he hasn't even eaten?

"The marshmallow ghosts don't look enough like ghosts"?  And his evidence is the cereal from the 1980's with nigh identical marshmallow ghosts in them?

We were allowed some of the sugary stuff, but we also had things like Cheerios, Shredded Wheat, etc. I developed a lifelong fondness for Rice Chex and...milk crackers. Crumbled up with milk poured over them, just like my grandparents ate them. Total invalid food, but I loved them.

This guy's so drunk on nostalgia he could probably play with his shiats and reminisce about last night's dinner.

Doesn't taste spooky enough.

So he's upset that his quick money grab promotion is a just a poor quality money grab? There must be a line forming outside of this guy's house of people wanting to repave his driveway.

If ever there was a good time to use the Stay-Puft marshmallow man, wouldn't it be in Ghostbusters Cereal?

/honestly, I don't give a shiat

Bah. For those of us who have to eat prunes for breakfast now, there's really only one cereal:

Not gonna lie, I like Kix. You can't appreciate the flavor if all you do is shovel it down the gullet, you gotta chew!

Crispix, cracklin oat bran, and banana nut crunch for me.

NINEv2: cracklin oat bran

I found those recently and it's currently my favorite. Maybe all-time favorite? Expensive as hell, but the rich molasses flavor almost makes up for it.

expensive as balls. and comes in the tiniest farking box.

when I was little, I tried to spend as many weekend nights at my cousin's house as possible. wandering the neighborhood setting off fireworks, playing Nintendo, egging+TPing houses every night, later at night trying to see bewbs on hbo/skinnemax. you know, as one does.

and early every morning? we'd ferret out the new/next location my uncle had assiduously-yet-always-ineptly attempted to hide the sweet, sweet cracklin oat bran. contents of the entire box would somehow mysteriously disappear, we'd later get yelled at, and Uncle would swear a blue streak he'd never buy the stuff again you miserable stupid kids do you even know how much this cereal costs get out of my sight.

/until next weekend when it happened all over again
//we'd always try to blame his little brother, but that never did fly
///everyone knew who the culprits were
