Subby made the connection to J&J vaccine.  Article is about the omnipresent threat of developing blood clots at any time.  It's another hazard like cholesterol and kidney stones that isn't a problem until it is.

As a member of the blessedly stilted race, I will bear this sword of Damascus with as much quiet dignity as I do the tree branches and objects hanging from ceilings that all conspire to crack open my skull and gorge on my brains.
