Trump and the GOP have a worse record than the Cleveland Browns with Hue Jackson as head coach.

I would offer to throw them a parade, but they already had one on January 6th and well....

This is the continuation of the Repubs BS of "If I can think it, it must be real" garbage.

It is real to them, which will continue to be a problem. A "well informed electorate" was considered by Jefferson to be a pre-requisite to democracy. It seems to be a post-requisite as well, judging by the last 40 years.

Last "official count" I saw, Trump's people were 64-1, but I'm pretty sure there have been 3 or 4 more since then

I want to see some consequences for all these needless BS claims.  Sydney Powell came out and admitted that no reasonable person should believe her, yet she was one of the ones filing these dumbass cases.  When are the courts going to start throwing out some sanctions?

The real question is: How many times has the Biden/Harris ticket won election?

I mean, we have to know when to hold the next presidential election, and I think right now that'll be around 200 years from now. That means the next question is: Will Zombie Biden / Zombie Harris stand a good chance at reelection in 2220?

In the post-truth world, facts don't matter. What matters is how people feel. And if they feel like Biden and the Democrats stole the election, they'll go to the grave believing it, spreading their hatred and bitterness to all around them in the intervening years.

"last"...sure.  Remember how the AZ republicans are "auditing" the election...again.  I look forward to them finding "irregularities" (or just creating them) and wasting even more time in the court system.

FTFY (usually gets denoted wins-losses-ties).

No claims on any substantial matters came out in Trump's favor.

A whole hell of a lot were shot down for lack of standing, lack of evidence, or just plain pants-on-head-ism.

They got one "victory"  initially in getting their election observers closer than 10 feet, which was later tossed by a higher court.  Then they got one other "victory" that stood, saying PA couldn't include some ballots that were received late (said ballots were already being put aside, and were of an inconsequential number, thus I award a tie).

2021-04-19 11:19:35 AM
The point isn't to win these cases, the point is to create doubt and uncertainty in the public regarding elections. To them this isn't a legal battle, this is a PR battle.

2021-04-19 11:19:41 AM
Freeperville is sane and rational about this:

The Supreme Court has ruled that de facto election fraud is legal in the USA.

Why would the virtuous whores take a case? Then they would have to see the evidence and make a ruling.

What are the steps in removing a compromised Supreme Court Justice?

(this one might be my favorite, "compromised" like having 10s of thousands of dollars in debt mysteriously disappear?)

It is troubling that the Supreme Court won't even hear these cases.
When the liberal talking point is spewed by the talking heads on TV, that there was no fraud in the election, what is left unsaid is that there have not been any real investigations into voter fraud. Cases have been summarily dismissed, as this one was, without the courts even considering the evidence.
And to the liberals, not looking into something is the same as saying that any concerns of fraud are false.

Exactly, they have no need to pack a court with only two conservatives on it.

Only three justices are conservative, the rest are liberals. Barrett is a huge disappointment.

WHY didn't Republicans in these states fight the pukes changing the voting laws BEFORE the election???

(this one is great because in many of these states the Republicans were the ones changing the voting laws)

Joe Biden didn't "win" anything.
He "took" -and the courts appear complicit in the taking and the coup at this point
They refuse to even HEAR a case..anywhere...which tells you how hard the oligarchy has locked down the Federal, state and local judiciary nationwide.

The GOP wants SCOTUS to tell them that the law lets them commit various kinds of farkery. Not to rule on the case as filed (which is moot), but to rule that the legal CONCEPTS they're advancing - the aforementioned farkery - is nice and legal.

SCOTUS generally doesn't do that, and especially not when the actual issue is moot (because, you know, he farking lost the election. By a lot).

// "ripeness" is important in the US judicial system
