I'm assuming there will be, at least for a few years, if not permanently, an annual booster required. I'm fine with this, especially if they find a way to roll it in with the flu shot and save me a trip.

That's a poor assumption. Evidence from highly related vaccines to highly related viruses show both memory B and T cells responses multiple years after infection/vaccination with trial vaccines.

Can I get one of those things like diabetic folks have for automatic insulin? Just have a box hooked right into me at all times, monitoring my antibody levels and shooting more in there any time I'm a quart low. I'd dig it.
