Actually, membrane cloaked viruses are more fragile-  anything that breaks the membrane seriously inhibits the ability of the virus to travel, and thus infect people.

The membrane makes it UV immune. If subby had any understanding of what that means on a water treatment plant level, this would have gotten the scary tag

Trust me, nothing is immune to 254nm radiation. You're just not using quite enough.
