Harrod's seems like that last place a bunch of young people would be going after lockdown. A bar, a club, a theater...those make sense. But Harrod's? Any U.K. Farkers want to explain this one?

So they can "shop" for high-fashion clothes they can't afford?

On the one hand, please, for the love of fark, no. On the other hand, if we just had a pandemic more often than once every century or so, maybe we'd all be on the same page for some of this shiat by now.

This is just gonna happen over and over for the rest of the year, I'm sure. We'll have outbreaks again and again, and all I can hope is that those outbreaks get less significant as vaccination rates increase. As far as I know so far though (if anyone's deeper into the weeds than I am, please feel free to throw me a bone here), we don't know yet how long immunity provided by the vaccines lasts. Hopefully longer than what we've seen from people who've actually been infected, because if not, ...ehhhhhhhhh. Just make it stop.

I think not many are actually in Harrods, they're gathering in the street and sidewalks outside Harrods, mostly in the pedestrian area by Knightsbridge tube station.

Well, I didn't mean IN Harrod's but by it, as in why there? However, since you said it was near the Knightsbridge tube station, that makes a bit more sense as I know that there are a lot of clubs & restaurants in the area.

Or gaudy diamond-crusted phone cases they can't afford.
