Yeah, what I did was drive to Jean and park in the lot at the Hotel/Casino that I stayed at.

It's Vegas. These things happen. Many years ago, I was driving to work. I approached the bridge over I-15 at Craig Road, and discovered a car upside-down in the middle of the road. There was nobody in the car. There was nobody around the car. There was nobody laying injured in the ditches or along the road. There was nobody around, except me. And a car laying upside-down in the middle of Craig Road. This was before cell phones were a thing, so I drove to work and called it in. When I drove past after work, the car was gone. I never found out how this happened or what happened to the people in the car.

I used to work at the Wynn, that bridge is the best way to get truss and gear into Encore Beach Club. Now they'll put ballards up so a Cushman and trailer won't be able to get across. Thanks, douche. Anyways, Wynn stopped charging for parking in 2019.

they're not charging yet, at least the Venetian wasn't. I think they're waiting for the pandemic to be over with before they start charging again.

Vegas has a DUI "task-force" made up of several agencies?!

Years ago I had a neighbor whose Astro van was crashed into a ditch on Lone Mountain near Allen years ago. Didn't see anyone inside, didn't care since the guy was a dick, and his two grandsons were hooligans. Found out from another neighbor who was an NLV cop that the oldest grandson took off joy riding and died in that wreck. So I guess there was someone inside. If I had called, who knows if he'd still be alive today.

Some time later I remember coming home from work, and seeing some weirdo in robes panhandling on the Craig Rd offramp, with two women behind him. Turns out the shorter one was Elizabeth Smart.

Las Vegas has been crossed off my list of places to visits, because of all the hidden fees shenanigans.

"Honey, I've found a great hotel that's not too expense. Hey wait a minute, what the hell are resort fees ?"

/Dnrtfa. Apparently, their European visitors are not actually that valued.

That's why I usually stay at the Four Queens downtown.

If the live bands on Fremont Street are keeping you awake, then maybe Vegas isn't for you.

Plus they have Full Pay 10/7 Double Bonus, and Hugo's Cellar is fantastic.

This one happened in Portland a while back. I love how the driver got out of there, presumably in a fit of frustration, and just said "Fark it!"

Don't engineers normally plan for and construction crews install bollards to keep this very thing from happening?  If not, why the hell not???

/You can make something fool-proof, but you can't make it damnfool-proof.

Vegas used to be very customer friendly given you were going to throw your money away.  Cheap buffets. Free parking.

Maybe they don't like the locals coming by...

Damn Australian tourists. In America we drive on the right side of the street.

My GPS isn't 100% accurate either.  That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.
