So hypothetically speaking: Nick Saban runs for state-wide office in Alabama, but he's a Democrat, does he win? Not saying he would be a Democrat or he'd ever run for that matter, but just hypothetically

Subby here. I was living in Tuscaloosa when the tornado hit.

I've lived through every natural disaster outside volcano eruptions and earthquakes.

I've never seen that kind of devastation, nothing even close.

And if Saban tried running for City Council as a Democrat, he'd be forced out as coach within a month.

By and large, Saban personally is a decent person.  He just happens to be running the most privileged program in a sport rife with labor and competitive imbalances.
