Ok, I had to look it up but it looks like this is only happening over in Woodland Heights.

I'm pretty sure the previous iteration of this (2019) was tested out over in Shenandoah or there about (Kroger robot-delivery was tested there as well).

There's not many rednecks in those areas.  The article holds true for many (not all) locations around and outside BTW-8.  It would be disastrous out in Clear Lake right now - all that road work on 146 *and* 45 is diverting a fark-ton of traffic to and from Dickenson, Texas City, Galveston, etc., through Clear Lake, Webster and League city.  There's two Domino's on NASA #1 and one on Space Center - that robot would get thrashed by impatient traffic if launched from those locations unless they didn't start it until 7pm....even then.

Once the robot arrives, you'll enter the PIN on the bot's touchscreen.

Congratulations! You've also received a complimentary case of Covid. Enjoy your nasty ass pizza.

/Yes I'm kidding.

If it's Domino's, I actually approve of shooting it out of the air.

How fast could an autonomous thing even go? I bet the pizza is very cold when it gets there.

Oh boy, I've always wanted to order delivery pizza and then... go out and get it?
If I'm putting on "outside" pants for pizza, I ain't paying a delivery fee.

Do customers actually go out to the curb for this shiat? When I delivered food I felt like my job was not just to drive but to ride the elevator or walk up stairs so you can eat at your desk/stay in your underwear.

That has to be an EV, so I'm sure it has heated compartments. Even if it was only 100 degrees, that would keep a pizza in a box quite warm.
I don't order delivered pizza, but I have no issue with this idea. Let's see how well they drive though.
Looking forward to updates and reports of mayhem.

I know that we're living the newest season of Black Mirror but could we hurry up with the cool shiat rather than the settling for the lame?

It's in the right state to test that out!
