You know when a Walmart store suddenly has 'plumbing issues' out of the blue just as the employees are starting to unionize because a routine layoff is legal while firing people for trying to unionize isn't?

I'm not saying Robinhood plays the same game by suddenly having 'issues' during big rallies that don't fit what the big short sellers and hedge fund managers want, but I wouldn't personally fault anyone if they got that impression.

I had just posted the perfect meme to WSB which guaranteed to send Doge to the Moon, but when I went to trade on RH, I was locked out!  Typical crypto fat cats.

I mean, the whole point of Robinhood was that it was a ridiculously bareboned app to allow people to trade for free.

Now almost every app allows you to trade for free and they still have all their extra stuff to help you.

Did robinhood ever add more stuff or is it still as barebones as it ever was?  If it is, then yes, I don't understand why people would use it for that reason alone.

/All the other hate it gets, though, I don't understand.  Just hive mind hatred at this point, probably.

Always remember the inviolable rule: if you're not paying for it, you're not the customer. You're the product.

robinhood is a convenient tool the hedge funds use to keep all the reddit day traders in one spot where they can track what theyre doing and feed it into their algorithms.
the fact that theyve recently realized it also gives them an "off" button means theyre overusing it and blowing the game

I'll farking say it. My buddy kept telling me to join RH. I pointed out how they farked the pooch with the GME thing. Doesn't surprise me in the least that they're pulling shiat again. Too bad the fine print says they can get away with anything. Can't believe they still have people using them.
