Well, we already know that they know Shakespeare - what's that famous line, again?

Dunno but if they do I'm certain it flies for them

Life's but a walking shadow; a poor player, that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more: it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Without watching I'd say yes.

I have no doubt. That it is time as we define it? Mebbe no so much.

Since time is subjective...all signs point to maybe

Does anybee know what time it is? Does anybee care?

I'm fairly certain if you locked me in a salt mine I couldn't tell you when a full day had passed. Maybe I can't perceive time.

Probably better than I can at this point.

Othello, right? Something about a beast with two backs?

Are the bees stoned?

2021-04-15 11:53:24 PM
Yes, because they have to know when happy hour is so they can get buzzed.

No, bees are immune to entropy. The arrow of time is meaningless to them! They are photons with wings! Well, except they have mass. The bees I mean.

They would have to know time. They scout food sources and report them to other bees. That means the very least they are communicating is "fly this direction, for this long," the could be distance rather than time but then you're into bee-defined measurements of distance. Which is just as "spooky" as them knowing time.

There's that exchange in Taming of the Shrew about where wasps wear their sting that ends with "What? With my tongue in your tail?,

No, I'm pretty sure he's referring to MacBeth, something about getting blood of your hands with spot remover as I recall.
