United Healthcare is a totally evil corporation. Do not get health insurance with them. I had health insurance with them and they stuck me with a $45,000 bill for gallbladder surgery because it was "pre-existing"

Well they have a point. Your gall bladder DID exist before the surgery.

And if it didn't I place the blame with you even more strongly

Northern: So premiums gonna keep going up?

Well, of course they did. Because medical costs went up. But that's the business model. Let medical care costs go up so long as they go up within the rates predicted by their actuaries. That keeps the profit margins up. Lowering medical costs is bad for the insurance business in the long run.

Wait until you find out that private insurance is subsidizing Medicare and Medicaid...

Payouts went way down in 2020 as people cancelled and delayed treatment.  So using the insurance and health financial industries own metrics, premium should go down by 10% to 25% for 2021.
Instead they actually went up.
Who knew that adding Wall Street types with complex financial products in place of traditional insurance would lead to massive cost increases?

UHC's contracted debt collector is currently trying to collect $18,000 we don't owe, and I am most certainly not getting a kick out of this.

/The COBRA place says we were covered in December.
//UHC updated their website to say we were covered in December after the COBRA place called them and yelled.
///A week later I called their debt collectors back and asked them to confirm that they had received the necessary information.  They said they hadn't and would call me back when they did.
////The fourth slashy is a parasite on society.
