30 days in the hole.
That is automatic AWOL (Article 86) , why not tack on a UCMJ 115 for malingering, if he should fail to show up, plus a 128 for assault. Maybe an article 15. Maybe a 114. Definitely a 134.
But what do I know?
I'm a civilian now.
But I still have my article 15 framed.

That guy's retirement is at risk. He likely won't retire at current grade. That's about the only thing you can do to guy that will hurt him.

He'll soon be on FOX, OAN, and Newsmax telling us how persecuted he is.

I follow (and am followed by--yay me!) the Commanding General of Fort Jackson on Twitter.  He posted yesterday that they will be investigating the issue, and it will be addressed.

In addition, the base Command Sergeant Major also said something similar.  Honestly, I'd be more scared of the CSM than the Commanding General. At least that was my perceptions when I was in the military.

To put it succinctly, if the Base CG, and the Base CSM know your name because of this stunt... well, you're farked.

_________

There we go.  Clucker Snarlson will be letting us know how allowing Black immigrants to come over on those slave ships so that White people could give them jobs resulted in a betrayal by Black people walking through White places like they had a right to be walking anywhere.

And too many Faux News-brainwashees will drink it all up.

Fark that noise, why force other soldiers to deal with his shiat?  Separate him as at least other than honorable, and possibly a BCD so that way he doesn't get retirement and can't go to the ready made career for douche canoes like him, mainly a police department.

I asked one of my military buddies about this situation.  He assured me nothing will happen and that both sides were just having a sausage measuring contest in public.

I look forward to rubbing this news in his face.

When military are in a civilian jail, they are considered accounted for, as in present or accounted for, so AWOL won't apply.  Since the crime did not occur on base, the base does not have jurisdiction over the crimes, so none of those articles apply either.  He will most likely be dishonorably discharged under a conduct unbecoming finding by the commanding officer.

I find it hard to believe that these people are so oblivious to what goes on in the world that they've never heard about or seen what has happened to people before them that were recorded doing this shiat. Basically destroying their whole lives for two minutes of assholery. Yet, even knowing they're being recorded, choose to do it anyway.

It's like some kind of bizarre tiktok challenge or something. It's amazing

Edit to say that 134 applies and it would be a quick, most likely, Special Court Martial, where if memory serves, the convening authority can act as judge.  Retired for 20 years so some of the particulars escape me.

I got out of the navy over 20 years ago, so I'm not sure what articles apply, but there will definitely be some articles of the UCMJ that will apply and the base/Army can and will deal with him and his career will be impacted.

Boojum2k: Ok spill, what's the CSB here?

It was the 70s. and Rocky Horror was running at midnight.
Albuquerque. And hot nights in the city.
The ladies from my young Baptists singles group thought it would be a hoot to go to the show.
They were fairly risque' and loved to do things that were mot conventional.
For Baptists, they were fun. (Side bar, not a  Baptist, but just looking for action in a manner what would not get me in trouble or screw up my clearance)
We are all having some wine and they suggest we dress up because all the college kids are doing it.
Then they decide they want to dress me like ... Janet.
And they do.
And we go.
And have fun.
And I meet David Soul at a bar, and he's very interested in me, until I say something and he realizes I'm a guy and he goes Meep Meep PLPTtapltpta Boom. *cloud of dust*
And we all leave the bar and go home and I get changed and dropped off at the base.

Mind you, I don't have to shave, even now in my 60s, I cannot grow facial hair. (might be because I ate an entire wheel of birth control pills my mom had when I was a kid) so when the alarm goes off, I roll out of my bunk, get dressed, and drive to the armory to get my machine gun and patrol truck.
Then Guardmount, where they inspect you.
The commander is walking up the line, and stops, and walks back to me and says, "Airman VUDU! Is that MASCARA ON YOUR FACE!?!?!"
"Uh, yes. Yes it is."

He writes me up an article 15 for "Failure to shave" because my god, he's not putting "Airman was wearing mascara" in triplicate on carbon paper in his goddamn files.

And I framed it.

The other cops would come in to my room and say, "What is that?"

Me: "Article 15".

What for?

Me: " Read it"

Failure to shave? What the... You don't have to shave, you have skin like a baby's ass.

Me: " Yep."

Who wrote you up?

Me: " Read it."

He's an asshole!

Me: " I agree, and that is a certified document proving it, too. Let's get a beer. "

Sounds like there was a confrontation between the victim and some neighbors, and instead of dealing with that or calling the police, they called their neighborhood tough guy.

Did anyone read the article?  There's a section where they claim the victim approached several people in a threatening manner, and may have had mental issues.

Where's the allegedly?  Where's the video evidence of this happening?  What are they considering "threatening?"   Simply existing?  Not returning a cheery hello? (as if)  Having a RBF?  Not explaining his right to exist to nosy assholes?

The only one I saw in that video was roid man and his dog whistling wife.
