Abe Vigota's nut sack looks better than that monstrosity.

That looks like something I doodled out when I was in 4th grade.

"Stunning"?

The features seem nice, but it looks like it was designed.by the same people who made the Pontiac Trans Sport.

I like vans, but not for the way they look.

This is no exception.

FTA: a massive 25-inch monitor mounted from the ceiling

I have the feeling whoever wrote this article hasn't seen a modern monitor (and their sizes) in a while.

I'm old enough to remember the good old days when it was LITERALLY a race to the bottom between Hyundai and Yugo...

Considering how ugly vans have gotten (Ford Transit), "stunning" may be accurate.

On the other hand, I'm partial to the old-school Chevy conversion vans that were built like tanks you could live in.

Often, yes. My parents would drag us on long trips where we'd live in that thing for a week. Later, after I got over the trauma, I realized how astonishingly useful those things are.

I had a few minivans in the past and those were the most practical vehicles I ever had. I would have bought another but I already had a beater truck & went with something a bit more fuel-friendly. Both vehicles now sit idle & unused in the driveway most of the week thanks to the pandemic & work-at-home jorb shift.

That's not a typical situation with Hyundai vehicles. There's a reason so many of them are sold here in the U.S. They are reasonably priced vehicles that run well and are fairly reliable.

I had the middle one, just it was cosplaying as a Mitsubishi at the time. Only good thing I can say about it was it had a decent radio (dealer installed Panasonic unit). It's lasted 6 months past the last payment on a 3 year loan before up & dying. I did see someone driving a copy of the first pic a few years ago out at the beach. It was almost showroom & I had to stop to look at it as who ever expects to see that?

/my insurance hated that car
//it was as if a bull's eye was painted on it for other drivers
///sadly, they never could total it
