Just like yesterday's thread, yes you can.

Half a stem or half a cap in the morning with coffee. No need to trip to attain benefit.

My fear is that my brain would expect the usual experience and that it would feel like when that one asshole nobody invited shows up and won't leave so they end up screwing the ratio so nobody actually trips very hard and everyone just sits there waiting for things to kick in and asking each other "you feeling anything?" for a few hours before getting drunk instead.

No, out of the question. Some people are using this substance to have fun, and as we all know, fun is sinful. The only medicine that can ever be allowed are those that come with unpleasant side effects, take decades of treatment, and are oppressively expensive. Because it is only through suffering that our bodies and souls may heal.

Psychedelics should only be used under the care and supervision of a $200/hr or higher professional.

Electrodes should probably be stuck all over one's head to monitor brain behavior and to make the experience as unpleasant as possible to make sure the professionals can publish an article about the trial in a scientific journal.

This. I highly recommend How To Change Your Mind by Michael Pollan. Has a great history of early psychedelic research until it was shut down and the renaissance of psychedelics in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD.

I'm getting ketamine infusions which have been life-changing for me as a longtime depressive.
