I don't have patience to deal with this on my phone, but I'll take it up when I'm out of VPN. But, isn't a family office just a personal hedge fund, or a kind of SPAC?

Lovely website, and there is a lot of translated corporate gobbily gack muddled with light tech evangelist garbage, but yes, this appears to be a family office. A pool of huge wealth controlled for the benefit of a few people. Not sure how that is structured here, but it is generally just rich people bullshiat --- pooling wealth to benefit a family (generally) and maintain and grow that wealth more collectively (not the worst idea), avoiding regulation and taxation, reducing risk of waste and wastrels (dumb family). Most are less public than this.
