He formely was in a high-profile relationship with olympic gymnast Aly Raisman. During his time on the show he quickly fell in love with contestant Cassie Randolph and following the show's finale they dated until April 2020. Randolph filed a restraining around that time against Underwood but eventually she dropped it.Underwood spoke about questioning his sexuality in his book, "The First Time: Finding Myself and Looking for Love on Reality TV."In it he said dating Rudolph helped him realize he was straight."[The show taught me] that I'm straight and I'm very, very attracted to Cassie and women -- but it would have been OK if it would have been the other way too," Underwood told "Entertainment Tonight." "I think that's the biggest message I have for people."I'm so confused! He says "I'm Gay!".  Then he dated someone with the last name Randolph, and then he dated someone named Rudolf (or does CNN just need a proofreader? )who taught him he was straight and it's okay"?

Underwood spoke about questioning his sexuality in his book, "The First Time: Finding Myself and Looking for Love on Reality TV."

In it he said dating Rudolph helped him realize he was straight."[The show taught me] that I'm straight and I'm very, very attracted to Cassie and women -- but it would have been OK if it would have been the other way too," Underwood told "Entertainment Tonight." My wife and I were regular mock-watchers when he was on. This is not a surprise, though we may have especially well-tuned gaydar.

I think the biggest tip was in explaining his still intact virginity - he was a high school and college athlete (good enough for a brief time in the NFL). And just "didn't have time" for girls. We all know the stereotype, right? Good-looking, talented athletes just never make the time to build a meaningless relationship with the girls in school.

Let's not start kink shaming him already, he just came out.

I, for one, could care less. For all intensive purposes, these terms are one in the same, and people understand the meaning irregardless of of the common idiomatic malapropism.

also:

In it he said dating Rudolph helped him realize he was straight.

When you don't "realize" you're straight until age 28, you probably aren't completely straight.

I thought "I'll f**k anything to be famous" was the default sexual preference in America.

Let's make a big spectacle about choosing the perfect person to spend the rest your life. Let's make lots of women compete for my love. I'll eliminate them one by one, until I have found the perfect woman.

Oops, my bad, I'm gay. Sorry about that.

Is he straight or is he gay?  Because this article says he's both

Or is he bi?
