You don't really expect people who think Big Tech is conspiring with the Deep State to Silence Conservative Voices™ to trust Google, do you?

Wow, stupid people exist. That's a shock.

Give me their address and phone numbers so I can sell them some stupid sh*t at high mark-up.

Send them an email survey that promises them free shiat. You'll have those address and phone numbers in no time.

Republicans need their excuses and fantasies so they can ignore facts and evidence that don't match their own worldview. They're toddlers pretending to be adults.

All the hardcore conservatives I know have this "ANY DAY NOW, JUST WAIT!" attitude about Biden.

Like he's going to unzip his very realistic skin-suit and AOC is going to climb out.

And they freak out when their Social Security check is 2 days late, or if their doctor sends them a bill because Medicare took more than 30 days to pay it.

MUST BE THOSE EVIL SOCIALISTS.

Bonus. Send the LED lights shaped like the old ones.

They'll never notice

I know what you're saying and I can it perfectly in my head or if I were to read it aloud. That being said, 'coo coo' can't be the correct spelling but on the other hand, I don't know what it should be either. It's really bothering me.

And when you see them, you just call them liars. They're not "mistaken", they are lying.

Call them out. "You are lying. Why are you lying?"

Yep, there are two that still wear their Trump masks to the office.  I only have to go in once a week right now.

"The LOWEST approval rating of ANY president in American history,"

My brother's in-laws believed this about Obama, they almost certainly believe it about Biden, no doubt they'll belive it about the next democRAT president too.

They do searches of "where can I buy citizenship outside of the US" in their search history AFTER committing their treason. So yes, they are pretty stupid.

/pretty sure the first question should be "what countries have no extradition treaties with the US"

Probably start by:
1) Abolish all organized religion and churches
2) Making mental health counseling accessible and affordable
3) Give bored teenagers who are trolling idiots something to do

Gallop still polls mostly by phone and "most interviews still are done on landlines."

So 56% could even be a conservative estimate, though there still remains the 30-odd percent red nutballs and then some number of people with varying real life concerns.

One popular approval metric is to subtract the % disapprove from % approve, to see the net.  Biden is about +11%, which is pretty good.  Trump was always in the negatives, for comparison.

But I could see some lying sleezebag taking that +11% and spinning it as his total approval, which would be terrible if true, which it isn't.

Address the almost infinite issues that create virtually every American's roundly denied and omnipresent alienation from 1) the products of their labor, (2) the process of their labor, (3) other people, and 4) themselves.

Education, universal health care, a livable minimum wage, enfranchisement at every level, are good places to start and, if effective, would reduce the 'needs' for palliative mental health treatment and organized religion.  Bored teenagers are archetypal and pretty much unremitting generation after generation.

Rev. Skarekroe: If I agree with the statement, why would I bother to verify it?

I get that it's a rhetorical question, but here's an answer.

I'm a SysAdmin.  I live and die by fiddling details and an anal-retentive attention to minutiae and strict adherence to my procedures.

Even stuff that I am goddamned *CERTAIN* of, I go back and verify.  Every time.  Because sometimes I make a mistake, and Murphy is ALWAYS waiting to pounce, the instant I take my finger off my number.

It's been good training, and good policy, for many things in life.

None of the right-wingers will ever subscribe to this philosophy, though.

USA Today feels the need to fact-check a random Facebook account posting a screencap of a random Twitter post.

But why?  Once you start going down that road, where does it end?  Social media is a vast ocean of 99% complete flaming garbage.  You're going to fact-check all of it?

If you're going to apply fact-checking to social media, at least restrict it to public figures and blue checkmarks.

There's no point in wasting any time delving into what Neal Stephenson termed "the Miasma," and trying to respond to or redeem anything found there.

What if we create a social media site that lets you see your friends, allows you to post, but then displays only positive ai generated posts to them. Replies would only be button selections of generic positivity.

/MLM pitches would be allowed unfiltered, lest anyone grow suspicious.
//I really doubt anyone would actually notice as long as they thought their crazy screed was getting likes.

If you want to hate humanity more than you already do, go to the original tweet and read the comments, especially the comments responding to people pointing out that this is BS.

They are enough to make you want to Budd Dwyer yourself.
