I am selfishly worried about the impact on my favorite NFL team.

Myles Garrett (Cleveland Browns Defensive End) said: "Taking those deep, big breaths are tough right now with the shortness of breath and that turning into a cough or getting choked up."

Even though I am now slightly stressing my J&J vaccine (7 days post shot). I know I am nowhere near the shape of these these athletes.

COVID - not even once

So where's the "they're young and healthy" crowd. I assume they'll pop in to tell how dangerous the vaccine is and how harmless covid is?

Maybe the fat uncle takes vitamin D, zinc with Ivermectin and therefore does not have that much to worry about?

Excellent point. We should probably study that one out.

Your fat uncle has heart worm?

Fine, I'll google.

(googles)

Seriously? Your fat uncle does have heart worm?

The problem is my fat uncle and others like him had covid and don't have any problems. so they think this is a hoax

"You see, as a kid I played in the dirt..." and while that didn't prevent other health problems, I, as neither a doctor nor a well informed person, am sure it will have no problem with a disease that has killed millions in the past 12 months.

You know how there are people that freak out over the J&J vaccine causing blood clots in 120 out of 4 million people?  This is the same type of stupidity.  Finding one extreme example and acting like it's the norm and everyone has to be afraid is farking dumb.

Something around 10% of covid patients are long-haulers

What's the percentage of 120 out of 4 million?

The dude uses an inhaler before games and is still a starter for a professional basketball team, but people will use this as an example of the affects of the virus on young people.  Anxiety is considered a symptom of long haul.  Who the hell doesn't have anxiety right now?  Part of the reason we're in this mess is because people didn't want to accept that there is a demographic at a lot higher risk and they pushed stories like this.

You moved the goal posts from "young and healthy" to long haulers.  The guy is young and healthy, had covid, and still starts for an NBA team.  What point is some idiot trying to make using this as an example of how serious this virus is for the young and healthy?

Are you farking stupid? What do you think a "young and healthy" person who now has to use an inhaler and has admitted to struggling physically for months now qualifies as? You're either stupid or an asshole (well, possibly both)

Well help me out with your superior brain.  What about an NBA player who catches covid, and still being able to start in the NBA even after 3 months of not feeling 100% do the young and healthy have to worry about?  Because that's what's being implied with the herpty derp "where is the young and healthy crowd" comment.  That's the type of fear mongering comment people use to discredit vaccines.  Oh look, someone wasn't feeling good after they got the vaccine.  Be afraid!  Oh look, a basketball player uses an inhaler!  Be afraid!

Who's saying be afraid? You brought up a dumb comparison (blood clots after vaccines to covid long haulers) and I said it was a dumb comparison. That's all, nothing about severity of the long haulers. I know you're a dumb person from your posting history, so it isn't that big of a shock, but still you should learn how to read

This is a story about a young healthy NBA player with covid who is still able to start for an NBA team.  The person using it to take a swipe at people they think don't believe in covid is the one saying be afraid.  That's why I made the comparison to people freaking out about vaccines.  They push the same idiocy.
