To Republicans, regulation is good if it can be used as a weapon to punish corporations who aren't 100% with you.

Shouldn't Hawley be arrested on sight?

No they don't. They're virtue signaling.

While we are at it let's break up Chick-fil-a and Hobby Lobby, both have had political opinions in the past. Sheldon Anderson, gone and each of his blackjack tables is now an independent business. Koch brothers no longer brothers - broken up. Any law firm that had a passing part in stop the steal, disincorporated.

/Yeah I know this is just raw meat for the cameras and the base

Republicans love the free market...so long as it benefits them alone.
Republicans love America...but not baseball.
Up next on the chopping block: Mom and apple pie.

Josh Hawley is a theocratic, fascist twerp.

The only REAL belief republicans have is the desire wield and exercise power.

Period.

Paragraph.

This is why you cannot shame them by pointing out hypocricies, because to them, they aren't, all they really care about is attaining power and using it to hurt those they feel have slighted them.

I mean, the current leader of the GOP is literally *THE ANTHROPOMOPRHIC PERSONIFICATION* of this.

"Hawley claimed that the MLB and other corporations that have criticized voter restrictions in Georgia and other states are doing "exactly what the railroad barons tried to do a century ago."

Not according to the SCOTUS -- a century ago!

For a guy who went to Stanford, he's a pretty simple brain.

You're wrong. He's incredibly smart. He's lying. That's it. He's just lying. He's lying to further his own agenda. This is exactly why Democrats lose. You guys chalk it up to them being stupid when in reality they aren't. They're just assholes who have no values. If you started treating them like assholes with no values maybe you guys would win more elections.

Job Killing Regulation® is bad.

This is just a bunch of grown men that play a game.
And the vendors.
And the parking lots in the area
And the local restaurants
And the local hotels

You figgered that out all by yourself, didja?

Congratulations. Everyone knows he's lying. But there are intelligent liars and obvious liars. In this instance - given that snippet above, which one do you think that dim bulb of a traitor senator Mr Hawley is?

Hobby lobby was a major funder of ISIS.  They bought many millions in stolen antiquities.
The reason that the Hobby Lobby family wasn't rounded up and flown to Gitmo is because reasons.
That war on terror and laws that took away our civil rights sure was worth it.

And to think, no body likes him.

This is punishment for a private company making a statement.  This is a clear violation of the First Amendment

This is where these assholes choose to spend their time and energy. Not with the laundry list of other, more pressing issues facing the country. And their constituents continue to elect them. Morans, all all of them.

2021-04-14 8:04:07 AM
So lemme get this straight, Ted...

A private entity expressing disapproval against voter suppression is cancel culture ans bad, but the government punishing a private entity for expressing disapproval against voter suppression, and thus violating the First Amendment is a-ok?

I figure Ted Cruz should know since he's supposed to be a constitutional lawyer.

Would anyone be shocked at all if the path to wielding more power was through becoming a Communist party, watching (R) change their name to the Communist Republican party.
