Subby here. Will probably be late to watching it live with y'all. Got something going on.

My first thought was the 2004 FPS. The story wasn't the worst, and the music was exceptional.

Well, the battle music was kinda generic, but the rest of the background music was good. The settings were visually interesting, including the Tower of Babel:

Kahlil and Painkiller are still mostly at odds, but starting to learn to coexist a bit.  They're got a small team and a high tech superhero lair.  We had Anissa and Grace's honeymoon interrupted with an abduction.  The rest of the regulars got the night off.

Kahlil had picked up a lot of leftover ASA money to get started.  It seemed likely that the enemies were also ASA related, but they made the connection quite explicit at the end.  Maya O'Dell.  We don't know what she's up to, but she felt a lot like the Arrow version of Amanda Waller.

I've been watching some 'The Charismatic Voice' YouTube videos, with this opera/classical music singer reacting to great metal singers for the first time.  Her first Judas Priest video was 'Painkiller'.  As one commenter put it, it's less like diving into the deep end, and more like getting shot out of a cannon into a hurricane.

Saw that one too. While it is one of my favorite Priest tunes, its not the best introduction. Painkiller is more of a metal assault than a representation of what a band can do.

I also like the Beth Roars reaction videos. Listening to reactions from professionals is much more enjoyable than some rando on youtube.
