Every time you see the story, the payout gets bigger in each of the lawsuits against pillow boy, Foxnews, etc.

There new machines are simpler:

Here's a Sampler ballot:

1. Republican yes?

2. Democrat no?

In other words, ES&S?

That sound you hear is the sound of a lawsuit striking paydirt.

Marcus Aurelius: That sound you hear is the sound of a lawsuit striking paydirt.

Yeah, from how I read it, each cancelled order can be chalked up to lost revenue attributable to the defendants and they have to pay for it.

Now, my lawyering experience is from Matlock and Always Sunny. So, I might be talking out both sides of my ass here.

Dayum, how dumb can these Republicans get? This is gonna be front and center in the Fox/Giuliani suits AND potentially create liabilty for the states from both Dominion for illegally awarding contracts to other firms as well as potential criminal exposuee for bid rigging.

Since you have such vast experience I hope you don't mind answering a question for us less knowledgeable; Would you advise Dominion to raise their prices 1000% to increase the dollar value of each lost sale?

Speaking of which, has anyone heard from Rudy lately? It seems like he went from being all over the news to radio silence really quickly after the Dominion suits started flying.

I know shutting the hell up would be the smartest thing he could do, which is why I'm confused that it looks like he did.

My first thought as well.

GQP:  "Let's make it easier for Dominion to show damages and really screw over our friends!"

I generally subscribe to the Rule of CNBC's Joe Kernan on this one.

Increase the price a trillion percent then sue the GOP for the amount. Then you take ownership of the GOP by judgement and then hand it over to PornHub.

Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

Doing a real good job of demonstrating material harm to the company due to defamation from Fox, Turnip, and all those other angry gasbags.

I don't know about that, but if I were the legal counsels for anyone involved in spreading the lie I'd be adding zeroes to potential liability.

Does anyone know if it's going to be a joint liability case? I mean, let's say they get a judgment for US$100M against Rudy and Sydney each, then US$50M for Faux and another US75m from Newzmax. Can they drain the others after they bleed out Rudy and Sydney?

Way to actualize the hypothetical damages Dominion was preparing to argue.

Surprised Mike Lindell hasn't started a voting machine company yet.

They need to make sure they get machines like the one described in this article.

Yes, that goes back a couple of years.  But it's still funny.

Just pile your money into the dump truck that is being driven to Dominion's lawyers.

As I mentioned in a previous thread, it probably finally dawned on him that he's never going to get paid, which made him also realize that he had been making a fool of himself for free.

The Republicans can't risk actually letting the voters decide.

By the time this is over, Donald Trump is going to be eating instant ramenfun-time noodles for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I love it.

I see the GOP shooting themselves in the feet ..... with a Ma Deuce.    This virtually proves the claims in the lawsuit.

Seriously the lawyers for being sued by Dominion must be in despair over this as they know it screws them over big time.

Yeah, but Manchin would rather stalemate everything and eek out another Pyrrhic victory in 2024, under a (presumably) GOP controlled government brought about by gerrymandering and voter suppression.

He's either panhandling or asking travelers questions to pass a bridge.
Maybe he can become roommates with Dersh, Gaetz, and Roy Moore.  Totally innocent guys wrongfully attacked by the liberal media and totally not pedophiles.

That's OK.  Dominion will have billions to dab at their tears.  These assholes are just making their cases that much easier.

Dominion can use this to point to concrete damage in their lawsuits.

Wow, Republicans are just not smart are they...

2021-04-12 5:06:39 PM
Good...

This makes the case for Dominion that much stronger. They're gonna take a hit, and still might have to completely rebrand when this is over, but this is exactly what they're suing for, and this just gives them evidence to use in court. If they can sue Powell, Lindell, Fox, and Trump for enough to hurt each one seriously (they obviously won't get $1.3 billion out of Sidney Powell, for example), then while this sucks for Dominion, I think it will be worth it in the end for them.

You could probably do a find-and-replace on the Matt Gaetz story, replacing "pedophile sex ring" with "voter fraud", and figure out where this is going.

If I was them I'd stay real quiet right now. Yes it's an opening for them but everything will have to be rebid, and I'm sure they don't want to become known as "The Trumper's Choice!" in election technology.

They're all separate cases.  So they can't be.

The cases would have to be combined into one.  Which won't happen.  All in different districts.

Nah, but ironically that's how most democratic nations vote.

Marking a piece of paper with an X.

Maybe it's because Americans are taught that they have the best democracy, so they wish to improve on what works?

Parliamentary, non-federal democracies generally only have one or two places that you need to mark on the ballot.

When I voted last fall, I had approximately 40 races and issues.  President, federal rep, state senate, state rep, county commission, city school board, county board of education, state universities boards of regents, multiple judges, tax and bond referendums.

Read de Toqueville for a rundown of the pros and cons of that kind of system.
